Strange, maybe something went wrong during the start-up of TF2? Did you tried restarting TF2/your PC? I know this sounds a bit dull but it is one of the most common solutions to all problems.

Are they remodels? Remodels are really gay in Team Fortress 2, it all depends on the first server you connected to when you launched.

some are remodels, it seems that they work and don't work. it's never the same result.

If you connect to an sv_pure 1 or 2 after launch, it will appear vanilla. If you enter an sv_pure 0, it will still be vanilla.

If you do it the other way around, then it looks like a super fucked up wire frame, or it doesn't even draw.

mp_usehwmmodels
Some command like that reloads the stock models if your skins mess up. I think I got the command wrong, but is extremely similar to it. Might want to look into it if this problem is really bugging you.
