Greezy off til August

Well I wasn't planning on really playing til the SF vs ESF anyways, but now something else has come up(or is it pFa vs. pFe now?). But basically, I have this data limit right, and it's not nearing full but both my brothers are getting starcraft 2 and want to play it 24/7, so I'm going to save them a little cap space. I'll see if I can get the PW for my neighbor's internet, but that's probably unlikely. So yeah, don't count on me on steam or in game til August 1st. For the civil war, we'll proceed with cevo team backups, giving James the first backup spot and if he's unavailable, I guess we can stick bullet there.

The reason why I was planning on not playing for a while is that the game is getting a little stale for me, so I figure a small break will be good. I'll be back in full force soon though, don't you guys worry.

Damn! No Greezy for a month! I liked the pFa VS pFe. But we're not in a league yet. I'm planning to do something but, by myself. More on that later.

August 1st is in 5 days.

Okay so here's the update people:

I'll be back tomorrow. This is for certain. Me and my brothers had a discussion about all of us (me in particular) having to use too much bandwidth and here is the conclusion I just came to with my brother.

When I don't use the internet on a normal day where my two brothers do, about 800mbs is used. When I do, it can range anywhere from 2-2.5 gigs (depending on if they use it more as well).

So the deal with my brother is this: If I can keep our overall usage to less than 2 gigs a day for the first week of August, nothing changes, everything is good.

If it is over 14 gigs for the first week, the deal is that we all can only play our respective games for 3 days a week.

I did some research and found out that TF2 (and all source engine games) only use about 30 megs per hour, so I don't think those are the issue. What I will be doing to conserve is logging out of steam (steam refreshes your friends list automatically, this can add up) whenever I'm not playing TF2. If you guys see me online and not in game, please message me to remind me to GTFO. Something else I will be doing is not watching many youtube videos anymore. Youtube can use upwards of 125-300 mb/hour (depending on if the video is in HD or not). Regardless, this is a lot and I watch a lot of youtube videos (sue me, I have like 30 active subscriptions). Also, I'll never be in mumble except for scrims. I'll check the forum a little less.

So to sum it up, I'll be playing just as much but you won't see me around when I'm not playing. If you need to message me really bad, send me a PM on the forum and I will check it very quickly.

TF2 uses 100kbps and mumble minimum is 8kbps depending on codec.
