Can we add a vote to toggle the "mp_highlander" variable?
Highlander mode sounds fun, and I think it'd be nice to have the option available.

If possible, I would suggest setting the vote so that anything that could interfere with Highlander (like votesniper) would be disabled if the vote is successful.

The problem with this mod is it's only 9v9. If we had a bunch of people in there and someone voted this on we'd be keeping people from playing. It's something we can perhaps look into for manually forcing only 1 person per class without the highlander mode.

Maybe we should first try it out before making a vote for it? What i can remember about it is that it limits each class to 1 right?

Yes but by limiting each class to 1 you essentially limit your team to 9 players. Making it so only 18 people can play cutting out 6 potential players. I think it's something we might only want to use manually. Like if there are only 12 people on the server then hey why not. But if we are busy on there it wouldn't be a good time to have the vote enabled.

JameLess, can you make an exec cfg for this?

I created the configs and they are in the admin menu. I just rebooted the server so they should be available to level 2 admins and up.



I feel it important to say, however, that if any admin enables this PLEASE disable it on your way out of the server or prior. We don't want to limit our players to 18 with no admin around to disable the functionality.

Kinda late, but I like the idea of a votehighlander mode... I think it should take something like five people to type in votehighlander first tho, and should take about 70-80% of the vote to win.
