eraserhead, i made one that was larger overnight, but apparently the .bmp format corrupts itself when the file size is larger than 3.6 Gb. it was somewhere in the range of 1,200 megapixels.

I know but why would I risk going bad? Drugs are supposed to make you feel good, not bad. There's no point of taking/using them when they most likely make you go batfuck insane which is why I so no to mushrooms and LSD. Besides, I never take anything without knowing things about them first (Yes I am just that down-to-earth).

Legalizing hard drugs, is that guy crazy? On most people hard drugs cause more trouble than good (addictions, bad health etc). Soft drugs okay, I am in favor of legalizing all of those myself but they dont do that much harm when used as they should. Ow well, I dont really think he will succeed in legalizing all drugs. Most party's are only in favor of legalizing soft drugs which I hope they do. The current policy is just one big corrupt plan that makes no sense at all and it is time to fix it.

Reading about what you want to try out before you use it is very wise indeed. If you think about LSD like this you shouldn't do it, i agree. And it's always better to do it with friends who have done it before. When i used that stuff (years ago, i think i did it about 5 times or so) i made sure i was in a pleasant space (not at a party!!) with people i knew well. For instance in nature, a park or something or in someones living room where you could lie down and listen to some nice music.

Btw legalizing hard drugs is perfectly rational. 'Hard' is a bullshit term anyway. Alcohol is way more damaging and addictive then most of the so called hard drugs and yet it is legal. Just look at the prohibition period in USA. Mobsters like Al Capone thrived when it was forbidden to by alcohol.

It is insane why so many money should be spent by governments on fighting people who want to consume drugs for their OWN pleasure which people have been doing for thousands of years and which will ALWAYS continue. It's nonsense. All the arguments in that article are very legit.

Just to be clear i only drink a few beers each week. It has been ages since i've been drunk or used any drugs apart from alcohol. I don't even smoke anymore for 5 years now. But i guess that if i would live in the netherlands again i would use some party drugs now and then

Never mix drugs with eachother and yes, alcohol is a drug. First lesson you learn if you're doing it right. Anyway, the definition bitween hard and soft drugs should be redone. Alcohol is one of the most damaging drugs (I call it a hard drug) since most people abuse it instead of use it, but then again that's how almost all drugs work.

I agree, it is bollocks that gouvernments try to stop people from using drugs. They're better off giving us education on them than banning them. People whow ant to try them out will get them anyway, mostly in poor quality. I am also strongly against the ban on Magic Mushrooms, mostly because the reasons Ab Klink gave us were total bullshit. There is hardly any risk in taking them and the few people who went batfuck insane on them were tourists who mixed it with other drugs. In fact, there are no reports of people going insane because of mushrooms outside Amsterdam!
Really hate Ab Klink then again I dislike the CDA to begin with... (I'm a socialist, so hate me)

And for the record: I only smoke cigarettes when stressed (not addicted), hasj when visiting my druggy-friends and I used to drink alcohol to the poitn where I am a little bi drunk (aangeschoten). These days however alcohol is a no go because of the medication I use...

Amen. But then why are you agains legalizing drugs? It would result in police and justice have to waste less time on drugs criminals because they would no longer exist, current heroin addicts would not have to steal car radio's and live in poor conditions because the drug would become cheaper and better quality (you can live a good life with horse as long as you keep eating and taking care of yourself, this is the most addictive drug there is but still most problems are there because it's illegal and very expensive), ecstasy would become less dangerous because now you would be able to buy it at the drugstore instead of on the street which means you would be sure you are using MDMA and not other chems, the prisons would not be filled with people who dealt drugs, and i guess there are more positive effects.

I only wonder what the current drug criminals would do, because normally when a market gets closed down like that they criminals just shift their attention to something else.

America has had a long history of drug wars started out by Ronald Regan and many many many people in prisons because of simply possession/consumption of drugs which is insane if you ask me. Since the USA is such a big country it's also very difficult to change things. Even the hollywood industry brainwashes people with all those television series about cops chasing drug criminals. As a child i watched Miami Vice but looking back it is so wrong, such bullshit.

In the Netherlands most people are against drugs but if you would ask them to sum up what the effects of alcohol or ecstasy are on the human body they can't tell you because they are simply basing their opinion on what they hear on TV and the junkies they see in the street. Our government says it's bad for you so they must be right, right? Wrong!

Just look how many millions are made in the legal drug industry. In the USA you can buy chems in drugstores that have been forbidden to be sold in Europe because of health dangers (but there are insane chemicals being subscribed by doctors worldwide). Yet they pug drugs like Ecstacy and LSD in a corner and label it BAD. Only because some anal people saw other people having fun and partying (read: the hippies) and decided they should be stopped having fun. Just like Pepper illustrated with his story about the Dutch minister who prohibited mushrooms. "Hey i heard someone jumped out of a building while he was using mushrooms, lets ban this drug for millions of people to use!"

I'm not against legalizing drugs, I'm in favor of it since legalizing them means less trouble and better quality since people can actually choose to buy trash or good stuff. A licensing program for the makers would be nice as well, giving licenses only to people who make quality stuff, making sure that what is sold is good.

Anyway, I dont think a lot will change with the drugs policy. They are too busy cleaning up the mess from the recession but it sure would be nice if they finally fix it...
