My skills might be roguh but I'm gonna start building maps again. I always build orange maps. This time I'm going to modify orange_x3. So tell me what you guys would ike to see in the maps.


I had an idea. I may add elevators and also an area on the middle of the sky. In order to get there you need to teleported there which will be provided in the spawn and that is the only way to get there. Then maybe I can add a control pint there. Also snipers could shoot from the bottom. So the players from the bottom are vulnerable from the bottom. Or maybe just make an area like that and the rest impossible to shoot through. Idk. tell me what you guys would like to see in an orange map.

If you need help, I've been making maps for team fortress 2 for about 6 months, just let me know. I'm making my own orange mod currently... All I'm doing changing is the amount of cover, and health and ammokits.

1) Some more cover.
2) (small) Medpacks.
3) A door into the spawn (team enabled) so you wont have to jump a thousend times -.-
4) Changing classes inside the spawn without dying.
5) More cowbell Less bugs. On the side walls there is a point where you can get stuck by just walking against the wall. I always get stuck in it -.-
6) More cover!

I was going to add another side door. Which you can only use to exit spawn. So then people don't have to walk all the way over to enemy spawn they could take a shortcut.

Nah I was gonna call it Orange_Hycemod, because it's going on the CGMZ server. Unless of course you guys want it on yours, I'll gladly have it there as well. Or only there if you want.

Well eraser liked it last night, (sadly none of you others were on) and as soon as I make a few adjustments the map will be ready for play on PULP for a testing, to see if people like it.

Hycce so your new map. I like what you did with it. BUT...... there are a few mistakes/ mess ups/ w.e.. Like that little small tower. I think you should make it possible for the snipers to go on top. Also there are some walls where you could see that they don't fit perfectly. For exaple, that little passageway against the wall of the spawn, that leads towards the tower,\. If you look at the side of the wall towards the side of the tower you see a black strip. Which shows the misfit of the wall. Also I had an idea. I'm not sure if it would work. But like The middle wall that you made between the 2nd pint and the middle point you could probably make a floor or ramp for the snipers. Also this provides great cover for the sentry buildings that would be created under the ramp. There are also some places and/or passageways where you could not go through or you can't fit through. Which you could could in orange_x3.

Ill try and have a few screenshots today or tommorrow and then you could fix them.

Totally clean it up. Whitewolf spent no time with his grid T.T

I am pretty sure it saves fps too. :o

As for new things... Spawn blockers and more defense on the last point, and maybe a bridge on both sides, so its better mirrored.

If your gonan go crazy with it... take off the protection over the spawn (roof), and have an exit from x to x's roof (red to red roof) that opens when you get the middle? like an adavacing spawn, only doesnt change layout

Oh, I see now. But it was a good idea, and who says I can't use it? Ah well, I haven't touched hammer since I made that mod. So if dark wants to make it he can.
