Backstab is wrong?

I talked to eraser about this already. My spy does not do the normal backstab animation anymore. It does the poke or slash. It still does kill but i thought i would post this for all the admins to see. Just to clarify if someone were in front of me i would do the stab like if they were infront of me not the bringing it up in the air then stabbing down cutting into their spine killing them.

I think I fixed this. Please let me know if it is still occurring.

Yea I just changed it at the time I posted and Nico confirmed the animation is back.

On the rotation server, it's happening.

It's happening on the rotation server because there are no random crits there. This means that the backstab is still an insta-kill, but it won't count as a critical hit, so no animation.

ohh i gotcha. So when crits are turned off on orange server it wont show the animation?

That's trippy. I like my backstab animations...

Ah k Hyce. When I have lunch with Valve tomorrow I'll ask them to turn the animation on even when crits are off.
