Question: How to airshot.(Soldier)

I know mostly its timing, but i want to see it. Are there any servers to practice?

I was thinking we could add this map to the vip map rotation. So some of us could go inside and practice alone.

it works best on a local system, it takes a lot of resources at startup and has been known to crash some servers. just download it and use the "create a server" option.

Btw I downloaded the map from fpsbanana.com and the file was a .rar . When I went to create server it didn't show up there. Could someone help me out?

you need to extract it. get 7-zip [link] and use it to "un zip" the .bsp file from it into your map directory.

Training maps on the VIP server are pointless. You can run them on a local server (create server option) and for the item horny guys, yes you still get drops. I've been doing this for a while now and it works perfect!

I'm so downloading this! I need to practice with all the classes, and this would be perect! It has training for everything

@Vlad I have never seen you airshot, and how do you airshot when you miss me half the time. Plus, you can do it 1/15 times with direct hit

lol half the time ur on mah team and liek other side of map. i do it more than most pepole know.

My advice would be to stop trying to airshot and just play. Eventually, you just get better aim and you do them sometimes without thinking. You can only airshot once you've mastered shooting at shit on the ground, so yeah, do that first.

Sadly enough, this is true. You would need to understand where to shoot with the factors of which direction you are running and which direction the enemy is running and the distance. Once you master shooting at the ground, it would be a breeze air shooting.

I can airshot with all explosive explode on impact weapons.

You must have good precision to do it though. I can only do it, by the tower, and inside the tower.

I suggest we play ctf_bball now and then on the vip server. It's a really fun way to practiceboth airshots and rocket/stickyjumping.
