Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
I suggest you make an event in the public steam group Greezy to find the missing players.
No vlad, players who can only play 30 minutes isn't going to work. That would mean we have to stop in the middle of the game because of a player leaving.

Yup it was awesome, but the last map is way too big for 5v5 in my opinion. But awesome for spy awesomeness..lol

Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
I do agree that the last map was too large. And none of us know it well. I think gravelpit would have been a better choice...even if I was promoting follower at the time.

Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
I would love to try steel for 1 pug. As the third map that is.
1) freight
2) gravelpit
3) steel
I would love a pug like that.

Steel is under rated, it is a lot of fun.jameless wrote:I would love to try steel for 1 pug. As the third map that is.

Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
Yes I have a blast on steel. Better with more people so I'm not sure how well it will work for a 6v6 but i'd love to give it a try.

Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
CTF's go far too fast in competitive play atra, so they aren't used anymore.
There is currently a contest with Valve to see who can make the best competitive CTF map to use in actual scrims though. I believe at this point, they've narrowed it down to thirty maps and they're picking the top 3 or something.
They work based on number of captures and defenses combined I think.

That would take sooooooo long to teach someone even the basics of mapping. Hammer is a complicated program.... but, if you really want the crash course, there are a few people in PULP who make maps.
Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
Oh, well, don't just give up because what I said. If you want to map, I am sure you could nail it down and make some fine maps.atra rosa wrote:yeah but its to hard so nvm
Re: NIGHT OWL PUG III
I'm willing to give a crash course, but if you have the patience of a shrew then you'll crash like a motorcycle does. The learning curve is hard.
