HUGE Family Problems! Empty HUGE Family Problems!

Post by Jonesie|UKCS| 30/6/2010, 14:04

Ok guys, I'm just going to fuckin' say it!

The reason I've been acting the way I have on the Forum is because;
I'm having very bad family problems. My mum and I, are going through serious problems with each other. I don't expect you'll be seeing me playing with any of you for a couple of days. I will be playing in the event on Friday. No way, will I miss that! She doesn't like the things I do. She doesn't trust me anymore. Like for e.g. I'm smoking now! I only smoke when I get very upset, or very jarate\'d off! I came home from College, and my mum starts havin' a go at me for no fuckin' reason, so, I told her to fuck off!
Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad
Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Try to avoid a further escalation of problems and increasing conflict with your mum Jonesie. It's better to find a midway/compromise while i know that it's hard.

Three things:

-women are very complex when it comes to how they react and the moment they choose to do so. If they are having a go at you for no apparent reason well then probably there is a reason but you just don't see it. Us men are simple creatures but women are a bit more social and less superficial then us men lol. They want men to be sensitive and caring while we aren't basically.
-mothers are supercaring (most of them) and worried about their children how they will turn out. You have to understand that. Put yourself in their shoes and try to imagine how it is to have a son like you, parents want to see their kids succesful. If i look at you Jonesie you are not very serious yet, and you shouldn't because you are still a kid. But don't make bad decisions like going into the army, dropping out school or start smoking. You can do those things later, try to avoid stuff that give parents reasons to complain
-You are in puberty so it's normal to revolt, period. Just be aware of it.

I think I have family problems too.

Not that I ever argue or have a row with anyone of them, I'm simply more comfortable without them around. As I'm writhing this I'm alone in this big house while the rest of my family is at our country place.

I guess they appreciate your presence more when its not for granted but I don't think spending minimum time with your mother will help you.

And god forbid you from taking advice about this kind of social stuff from me, I got the social skills of a chameleon that camouflages whenever another chameleon is around and then denies his presence when the other chameleon finds him. And I kinda find the fun in stuff I should really not find the fun in (see previous line where I made fun of my own lack of social skills.)

Jonsie don't let your rage get the best of you, just take a deep breath and calm down whenever you get angry with you mother. Not only is it healthy, it also makes her look like the villain if shes unable to suppress her anger too. Dismissing her with "fuck off" and such will not help you in any way, stay calm and argue in a manner that only deflects her arguments without "attacking" her back.

And crying out loud don't smoke, sooner or later you will live to regret that one way or another.

^This.

Also, remeber what I told you before - It's a normal part of your growth. When you become more independent your parents in their turn will feel a loss of control and influence, therefor they act in a "suppressing" manner. Everyone have been or will be in this situation. But for some the effect of leaving adolescence is more devasting than for others. Just keep in mind that, like Eraser wrote: Don't use this as a reason to start doing bad stuff, like smoking or starting fights again.
I'm not telling you to stop being enraged or sad, I'm just saying it eventually will work out fine if you keep this in mind and don't let the situation escalate.

Hope everythings works out well. Smile

If we're talking smoking cigarettes, that's really not a wise move. They seriously barely do anything good, but they have serious negative effects on your health, not to mention the cost.

Thanks for the help, guys. I understand what your saying, Pneu and Siphex. Pneu, you know what I used to be like, I fighted al the time, didn't I, but now, I'm quite calm, never get into fights anymore, well accept the other night when me and my boys (best mates) got jumped by these pricks that were waiting for us around the corner. So, on Saturday, I'm going to a park in St Johns, and me and my other boys are going to knock the crap outta them!
