Put some smooth jazz on and just drift away to that. Just listen and really focus on laying still, zoning out, and chilling.

This, but if you aren't into jazz, put on your favorite mellow music. I also find leaving my TV on (with a sleep timer) very helpful.

Basically, drown your thoughts out with sound; ambiance soundtracks work the best, I think, the soft roll of thunder, or the constant roar or a waterfall.... perfect for sleepy time.

Have children. You won't have a tough time falling asleep any more. You will just have a tough time finding time to fall asleep.

Marijuana, for real. Unless you aren't into smoking.

You could always vaporize as well, but yeah I'm sure you aren't into that.

I always pretend like someone's watching me so I have to pretend to be asleep. Once I start breathing slowly and not moving I fall asleep.

I am an expert at these problems since I suffer from a rather severe insomnia. i often make 36 hour days which is quite handy really, you can get so much more done once your body is used to it. But on to the problem now.

Normally there is a deeper reason why a person can't sleep. Trouble at home, school, work and social life are the most common reasons. Nothing you can do about it except for not thinking about it. If this is not the case you can always try out these things:
-No gaming before you go to bed (makes you too active).
-Read a book in bed; no tv or anything. Really relaxes the brain and reading is good for you.
-Try jacking off; perverted maybe, but for some it helps.
-Relaxing music and a cup of green tea also might help.

Anyway, the basics is getting to relax which can be a hard thing to do when you are having some personal issues. If you don't I suggest talking to the GP/Doctor about this, you will likely end up with some meds from the Benzo class which make you rather calm an sleepy within an hour.

Be physically active during the day at some point. Make sure you spend the last half hour before you go to bed doing an activity that isn't overly exciting or stimulating. Don't eat anything at least two hours before bedtime, if it can't be avoided eating light dairy products/vegetables/drink water. Read up on Yoga breathing and use it to relax.

Awwww! My poor little Siphex not gettin' any proper sleep. I'm sure I could help ya. When I can't get to sleep, I go downstairs, do excersizes to make myself knackered, get a freezin' cold drink, to cool meself down, go back to bed, and snore my butt off. Or ya could just smack yaself around the head. I tried that, didn't work!

I just learned to live with it, taking power naps or making 36 hour days. But again, I can imagine why you don't like it.

C'mon Epps! Siphex is Swedish! He is epic so therefore he needs epicstuff to help him sleep like Coffee or have a Biscuit and slice somebody's throat with it, then scald them in tea!
