We need to establish who the mentors are

Not everyone can mentor. This is the issue. We need to establish maybe 1 or 2 people for each class (competitive classes first and foremost) that are capable of doing an adequate job mentoring. These would have to be people that know the competitive scene well, and have not only a knowledge of their own classes but the classes that they play against.

Perhaps we can have people sign up and then narrow it down?

What do you mean by people who know the competitive scene? Should they have played in leagues?

I'd love to be a Mentor for Soldier. Maybe Google or Afro could help me or even Greezy.

@Eraser; I think Greezy means who's got good expericence with that Specific class, like who plays it in PUGS and Scims. Am I right, Greezy, or partly right?

No, just people who know what each class is going to be doing, how they'll be playing on the maps, and how to counter it. Having experience with PUGS, scrims, lobbies, etc is crucial as well obviously.

Well, I would volunteer for a class or two, but I'm really rusty (and my keyboard & mouse keep dying periodically, which is kinda inconvenient during a firefight)... even then I'm still pretty decent, but I'm not particularly exceptional for now.

Well I play a lot of demo and could answer a few questions I guess. But really I don't see what is so difficult about tf2 you need mentoring to understand.
