ProTip : Don't use the rocket launcher, not enough rockets and always having to reload and such. Use only the shovel along with the trumpet.

Soldier weapon choices are a small thing that makes a big difference. I mean, if you switch to your shotgun early, it could mean life or death. Another pro-tip, never listen to Nico, he be trolling.

I agree with Nico, because with the Horn of Gondor + Shover, that would mean epic dmg with the shovel. Plus you can be healed while holding shovel but with Equalizer you can't.

My protip? Play Pyro. You can get prediction training by over-using the Flare Gun, and then you've still got the Flamethrower to fall back on (not to mention higher movement speed).

No No No.... You use your Horn o Gondor with the equalizer to help you mine with your orc friends so you can make armors and such


But on a serious note

Rocket Launcher:Good for lower level players, aoe damage is very nice and doesn't take much skill
Direct Hit:OP, but you have to have good aim, takes a good bit of practice

Horn of Gondor: Very Situational, best used with a defensive soldier
Gunboats:Good for jumping around, not much else
Shotgun:Use this 80% of time, shotgun is really good

Equalizer:If your not using this ur a noob
Shovel:Never use, Equalizer is god

I never use shotgun on orange unless i have a pocket medic (which rarely happens) and it's a big map so you can do a lot of jumping. DH is only useful when pushing back hordes of enemies when defending or attacking the last point since you can just spam horizontally without jumping and have high chances of hitting people, in this situation the horn of gondor is an excellent combo. On maps where there are a lot of allyways and chokes like thundermountain it's also good to use the DH since targets don't have a large area to move in and it's easier to hit them once you know the map and when it's a payload map you know they will be walking beside the cart. In all other and certainly most cases the normal rocket launcher is best.

This was more for competitive, but I can give you some advice right now.
Mentor stuff was to show rollouts and shizzle. But...
Dont just use your rocket launcher. Use rocket launcher to get then to like 50hp then shotty. I dont like buff banner cause im more of a solo person.
I only use Dh to mess around. Same with boats.

No use boats to get to mid on first rollout. Then switch to shotty. That's what I do.
