TF2 Skins
I want to apply these 2 tf2 skins.
http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/56324
http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/78389.\
I can't seem to get them to work. I looked at the thread google put up but it only states how to change it to your own way, using adobe photoshop. I would really appreciate the help.

Re: Tf2 skins
@ dark_hac_sniper.rar
Open and extract the "materials" folder into your tf folder, which is located here:
"DRIVE:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\team fortress 2\tf"
@ cstrike_54
This guy compiled the skin horribly, and is outfitted for CSS; wtf? But it is still installable, you just need to know what you are doing.
In the .rar, open "csitrke" and you will see "materials", do the exact same thing you did for "dark_hac_sniper.rar"
Should work

Re: Tf2 skins
Within the whole folder( i downloaded) there is a materials folder as well as a sc33ns folder there. The scr33ns folder is filled with pics of the skins. But the Materials folder has other folders within it. Now I put the whole folder (dark_hac_sniper) inside
DRIVE:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\team fortress 2\tf\materials.
But I'm guessing that is not what your supposed to do. Could you explain my next step?

Re: Tf2 skins
Drag the "materials" folder from within the zip into the "tf" folder
DRIVE:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\team fortress 2\tf
When it asks to overwrite, do it.
What you said is suggesting you are dragging the "materials" into the "materials" folder and that is incorrect.

Re: Tf2 skins
Okay so the skin works. But I got a question now. If I wanted to put another skin for another class. And I do the same thing. Do I still keep the skin from the sniper. Or could I only keep one skin?

Re: Tf2 skins
And there is another question:
I went in-game. And every sniper I saw. Had the same pants. I saw Gibbo with the pants. And some guy named Jojo. Is that normal. And I could see the pants but I don't think gibbo could see the pants.

Re: Tf2 skins
1: Different classes = different skins, thus allowing you to have 1 skin per class
2: Yes, it's normal n3wb.

Re: Tf2 skins
1. You can install multiple skins (mix them) but these are limited to certain pieces of clothing/parts of a building and/or teams. For instance I use a mix of 2 skins for my dispensers but this is for the more advanced/technological skilled who know what they are doing.
2. Only YOU can see the skin, otherwise you would have to download every single skin everyone is using over and over resulting in a 2GB download which becomes obsolete when someone else joins. You better thank Valve for not allowing this because of those weird download caps most people have abroad.
Finally most of these questions you can answer for yourself with this nifty little online tool. You insert what you want to know and it comes with a solution! Also, read the description/readme file when there is one.
