Lag ont he server

Recently I'm getting a lot of lag on the server and I'm wondering if anyone else is also experiencing this.

My specs are far above the required specs for TF2 and you can believe me when I tell you that my laptop is perfectly maintained.
My connection is stable as always and my ping bitween the 100 and 130 which is my average ping on the pulp server. Other games run smooth (GTA:SA, Audiosurf, Gmod) and when I play on any other tf2 server I don't expirience this lag (low ping and high ping servers tested).

So does anyone know what's going on? I remember that this all started about 1 or 2 days ago. Did anyone made major changes to the server or is this just valve acting like a dick to me?

Before you ask, yes I've rebooted and updated my drivers which in fact improved my overall performances.

Did you download anything? I have no lag at all.

Torrents were off, Firefox unloaded (I keep firefox laoded in memory so it will start REALLY fast).
Even after rebooting I kept on lagging, only on the pulp server.

I haven't experienced that much lag on the pulp server. I know there is a new version of sourcemod coming out really soon (perhaps today). It will be a big change Eraser will be doing soon. I know it's supposed to fix some bugs and issues the previous version had. It's possible that some of the code in there can help speed things up for you? Perhaps that can solve your lagging issue?

Well the strange thing is that it started just a few days ago and only on the pulpserver. Ow well, let's hope valve's update likes me...

I hadn't experienced any lag for a while, so I thought it was just you, but earlier to day, I was on with a few other people, and I got some major lagspikes a few times, aside from just slight slowdowns that are totally unusual for me...

Maybe its the server. I was playing on the server yesterday and there was this player I couldnt see. Tehn when i got killed by him I would see him at spawn. Maybe the server needs to be rebooted.

We could give it a shot. Can't hurt to rebooth and that means the server is fresh instead of filled with old data.

They added a killtaunt for the Übersaw. Dead Ringer got buffed. Targe got nerfed. Buff Banner got tweaked. Double-jump, Direct Hit, Force-a-Nature, Sandman, Gunboats, and Sniper Rifle got fixes. The Pulp server hasn't applied that update yet, so... yeah.

The server doesn't have the January 13th Update so obviously it doesn't have the ubersaw taunt kill data so it just doesn't work.
The server sure needs a good restarting. I think admin level 2 could have the option to do it because eraserhead is not often available.
