Spies: A poem

I wrote this poem for a dearly beloved friend (You know who you are )

Spies, O Spies
I abhor you so
You cower under a cloak, disguised, a charade of a joke
Is there no chivalry anymore, when a man passes as a woman,
when in fact he is but a villain?
I hide behind a wall, unbeknownst to your presence
You creep up behind me, no regards to penance
I groan in agony, as I feel the cold steel
I keel over in pain, managing but a squeal
You catch me off-guard, healing a teammate
You stab me, leaving a stalemate
Yes, go ahead, kill me
Plunge your knife in my back
Yes, kill me, feel my blood
For I am but a man, and have nothing to lose
Out on the battlefield, amid the chaos
Hark, what is that I see?
Oh, It is a spy!
A spy I see, and a spy I shall kill
For it is by the hand of a spy
That I shall die by
