Should we change our tag from {PULP} to {P}?
Tags.......
Uh, I'm just gonna go ahead and put this out there... I don't think anyone should be using {P} tags... Especially at the end of their name. I know Taboo is allowed to because of his "symmetry" but I've recently seen Shithead (Tendo) and Socrates using those tags... They were never given permission, and IMO I don't think Taboo should've either. It messes up the symmetry of our clan. And I don't think any tags should be at the end of the name either.

Oh, you're supposed to put them at the front? I just put it there because that's where my [LEF] tag used to be. Totally arbitrary.

Well I think {P} is beautiful too but that's my opinion. However I agree that we should put them at the beginning.

Well I think we should at least choose one or the other. I like {P} too, but if some people are {PULP} and some are {P} it just doesn't look good...

It honestly doesn't matter. And frankly, {P} looks nicer than {PULP}. It's not too obstructive but it's kinda edgy looking too.

Re: Tags.......
I like {P} more then {PULP} because it is shorter. My name always consists out of two things: my name and where I'm from. Add a clantag to it and it is so long. Ow well, might just be me.
{P} is more stylish
{PULP} is more recognizable.

Re: Tags.......
Also it can be stylish is some case. Like if Pikachu joined the clan, I told him his tag could be {P}ikachu which is stylish lol

Firestar i changed this topic into a poll if you don't mind.
Im sure there are some of you that can make even more creative tags with special symbols and such. Just look at some players ingame names.

Re: Tags.......
Hmm. Well, uDi are my primary clan, and honestly, they are my priority. I hate how TF2 takes your Steam name, and not a standalone name such as in CSS. My name is long with both uDi and PULP tags, but I would like to stick with {P}.
I cannot take off the uDi tags, as they are my home. PULP is also my home, but I am PROUD to wear the PULP tags on the server.

Re: Tags.......
I think this is a real dilemma. Marketing wise {PULP} is much better. If you play on other servers people might ask what pulp is and you will remember that player with that tag. When you run into that name at a later time you will be reminded of the first experience you had with it and it will have more impact (oh i remember thats the clanname that cool player was in....). {P} doesn't say anything. But maybe the mystery of it has an effect too.... Since the beginning of this clan i've heard a lot of people say they like the name PULP. I'm trying to picture how much the effect would be on that with changing the tag.
I very much like the stylishness of {P}.

Re: Tags.......
Hmm. Well i think people will be smart enough to know that there are two P's in Pulp. On the chance that we get brain dead people, then there is still the fact that we're always in OUR server. When people go outside of the server to other community's, they're not allowed to recruit (most servers prohibit recruiting) people anyways. I think that both are fine but the {P} looks a lot more clean and there are no other clans that have this on an orange server (unless i didn't see it).
Keep it. Its a better look, i would say...

We always play on Pulp Fortress, so people know who we are with the {P}. I'll make this short. I love the {P}. It's stylish, mysterious, short and (dare I say it) sexy. It's everything that every clan wants to be, and everything our clan is.

Touche good sir. I've kind of changed my mind a bit, {P} is cool looking, but I'm not against {PULP} either.

Why? All I'm saying is we shouldn't have two different tags, or more, for the same clan.

Re: Tags.......
Let's put all this in perspective, guys.
This is a clan tag for a starting-out clan in a multiplayer game wherein clan recruitment comes to little more than "I enjoy playing with these people, I'd like to do it again." (At this stage in the game, at least. If we got really serious about Scrims, all that could change (But in the event that we were really serious about Scrims, people would know who we were without our tag anyway, right?).).
My point is that getting argumentative and adversarial about something this inconsequential is rather silly. The clan tags should be tailored to what individuals prefer. If your name is excessively long, and clan tags only exascerbate that problem, go with the {P}. If you're accustomed to having it at the end, hell, stick it there.
Does it really matter? I mean, how are clan tags in any compelling way indicative of our value as a clan? Shouldn't we be more concerned about things like leadership, administration, the quality of the server, and the skill of our players? The best way to handle the "problem" is not to handle it at all. It's not really a problem unless we make it one. No one is going to criticize us about it, and there are far more consequential issues to be addressed and debated.
Just my two cents on it...

Re: Tags.......
{P} looks better, hands down. It's simple, clean, and cool.
However, it doesn't say anything, which defeats the entire point of a clan tag.
I think {PULP} would be the way to go (although {P} would be appropriate during scrims and whatnot when people are familiar with who they're up against).
The ideal solution to this problem would be to find a middle ground. I'm not sure where that lies, but I think it's important that we think about it.
[I didn't cast a vote, but add mine to whichever side has less.]

I definitely see where your coming from with this, and can generally agree with you. I would posit that the middle ground lies in letting people do the tag as it fits their situation.

Re: Tags.......
I agree with Impalsi and i think we have more important stuff to deal with like the upcoming scrim and pugs, recruitment of new members and map rotation.
Lets just say that we will keep the {PULP} tag and people are only allowed to deviate from this if they have a lot of characters in their name of have a tag from another clan and they can use the {P} tag but we would appreciate it if everyone could keep the {PULP} tag.
