This guy is now my inspiration to become a better, more serious spy then I am right now. And yes, orange_x3 is a kinda shitty map for spy since it is so open.

Yup it is, but you can develop strategies and become a good spy on that map too. You should check out that guy, Nicobbq. He is kinda good.

Too bad I have never seen nor spoken NicoBBQ... I wonder who he is. They say he had backstabbed 4 spamming pyro's who were capping the last CP all by himself without even getting hit once!

I tried out the dropping from above tactic. Nothing more fun than jumping from the top of the tower and backstabbing a pyro, LOL.

Yes, orange is open but you have the tower so you can use that to get a lot of leaping backstabs.

I have laughed so hard when watching this tutorial. That guy is really a basterdspy LOL. If you hear people say 'What the fck!?!?!' then you know you've done a good job.

Btw i don't understand why the players in this tutorioal don't turn around when the spy uncloaks behind them. That's what i always do. I think sometimes they cant hear the unlcoaking sound when there is a lot of gunfire, so this can be a tactic too. I still have to watch the third part so don't know if it's covered in that one.

Also, Dead ringer is really good in Orange Maps. Since the map is really open, if you're not 100% sure of what youre gonna do to kill someone. You might wanna step back and wait for the good opportunity. If you need to make a quick move, act stupidly and get dead ringed to move in a stealthy way. Do not ever look at your ennemies in the eyes. They feel it. Look at the tower act like youre gonna take a bite of your fake sandvich.

The key of playing good spy is being able to read into the ennemies mind. Know what they are going to do before they do.

PS: That's why I love playing Freaking spy. He is so OP!

I'm terrible at leaping backstabs... I always mistime it and land behind them, and they turn around and kill me...
Any advice from the great NicoBBQ?

I also got a leaping backstab yesterday, just not from the tower but from the wall near blu spawn.

ive watched all the omfgninja videos, i watched them before i had tf2 so i would be epic when i started now im gotr double my spy time compared to the other classes.

Firestar, if you want me to, I can teach you them. I can get them everytime with Spy. I do them to Eraser head, and he still suspects nothing, well, he's catching on a bit now but, he didn't before. Thin is Fire, you have to do it before they get into the tower, backstab them before you land. Do it with PRECISION

It's hard for me to explain. I just kinda know when to jump. By doing it a lot of time and failing sometimes and such, you get the timing. The class I still have trouble leap stabbing in the scout. Im still having some difficulty with the timing.
