Got it two nights ago on the CGMZ server on granary. First CGMZ admin to have a hat/item. Needless to say, Kane was pissed. He slayed me everytime I went spy.

When I saw that on my screen I screamed so loud my mom asked what was wrong... I was so excited, my first hat thing.

And I know its easier to get. Its still way exciting.

Congrats, it was also my first hat thing (not counting Halloween-hats) but I kinda dislike it. Then again, I shouldn't complain about some free item that doesn't change gameplay in any way :p

I can understand why the title was changed. After It was posted, I noticed it was about 2 feet too long, hahaha. It expressed the explosion of joy when I realized I got a hat.

The Camera Beard's drop rate was broken when it was changed from a hat into a Misc item... They drop at the same rate as any other weapon, so technically they're more common than the Gunboats.

Yeah, I noticed the droprate is more common when I got a second one, and my friend Lars who has played TF2 for 2 weeks got one.

If you do, you may wanna save it. Keep in mind that Valve has been collecting all the badass hats people have been making, and they intend to put them into the game eventually. There's one update before Engi, and I halfway expect it to be "The Community Update".

I'm still 2 of the lvl 3 metals short, by the time I have crafted enough metal the drop system would have allready gave me 10 hats xD
(and no I don't idle).

lol, i was feeling really unlucky cos i had no hats then i got the Tough Guys Toque and the PYRO BRIGADE HAT!!!!!

I also see a lot of people who have the though guys toque for some reason. I think i found 4 camera beards untill now. The first real hat i found was the Texas Ten Gallon and after that the hatless engie one with glasses. I think it has to do with the many hours i have on engineer (+200).
