Windows 7 beta Empty Windows 7 beta

Post by Lord Zurkov 28/2/2010, 18:00

I dunno if I'm the only one, but the Windows 7 RC is about to end, and it'll be taking my OS with it.

I'll be off the server until I manage to find another OS to use, which could take as little as a day or as long as a few weeks. Neutral

1) Torrent the Win7 version you'd like (link Google)
2) Install it anyway you like (I prefer giving it his own partition for easy re-installing without losing my data on D partition)
3) Download and run RemoveWAT (link)
4) Wait a minute...
5) Free fully functional 'authentic' Windows 7.

Just remove the links if it's against the rules. Even though I helped making them I never read them xD

In that case, go to the soundcard manufacturer xD
Not that you would allready know this if you got a custom PC.

If you don't have experience or someone that can help you with it don't do it. Let a computershop assemble one for you where you select the parts. In the upcoming years just do the upgrades yourself. Replace a harddisk, video card, etc. There will come a time where you will replace the entire mainboard and processor. So one step at a time.

If you like a challenge you can do everything yourself but read the manual of your MB carefully and do some research on the internet.

You can build your own laptop? Should had know that before I bought this one...
Also, laptop parts are allready backdated on the day they get released. I would prefer building a desktop for gaming and keeping my laptop for movies/on the road. Nah, it's good enough to run most modern games on medium which is good enough. Not gonna spend my own munnies on a pc that I dont need (yes my munnies, not the munnies from your parents. Munnies is a nice word).
Besides, I can hook my laptop up to my phone, share her internet and even play tf with a 170 ping on the orange server (guys I would have 40-ish on a Amsterdam/European server).

No i can't assemble laptops you muppet!

Well, i did disassemble/reassemble my own laptop once but is was a hell. Those things are not made for opening up except for the memory and indeed you can't find parts for it.

I recently opened up mine to find out if I had free slots for my RAM left because I wanted to upgrade to 8GB for no reason. Didn't had any free slots though, 2 slots both containing 2GB. Shame really, 4GB cards are expensive -.-

I opened up the rest as well (that is what I am allowed to open up without breaking my warenty). I could get tot he hard disc which is secured with gyroscopes to prevent damage from falling/bumping, ram (allready said), the battery of my motherboard and to my wifi which is secured on the motherboard.

Beautiful things really, laptops. Desktops are big and ugly, laptops are compact and sexy. Almost like trains, old ones are ugly but the VIRM-IV is such a sexy machine *inside joke*
