Your favourite series?
I thought it would be nice to make a topic about TV series? Whats your favourite series? I saw Sgt. Pepper mentioned Greys Anatomy. Here is my little list, i'm sure i forgot some:
Six Feet Under
24
Nip Tuck
Dexter
Rescue Me
Heroes
The Sopranos
The Pacific

Re: Your favourite series?
Fringe
Dexter
Fringe
Heroes
Fringe
The Sopranos
The Office (The British version though, the American version is crap imo)
House
I prolly missed some but I have to mention this one. Human Target. I am really starting to get into this one. It's one of those cheesy, the good guy always wins, kinda shows. Almost like a James Bond kind of, just trust in the hero, show. But it is very entertaining if you give it a chance.

Oh yes i forgot Fringe, it's pretty good. Altough i don't know what happened with the storyline in season 2.
Re: Your favourite series?
I agree it started getting a little rough around the edges. Hopefully when it comes back this week it will be much better!

Re: Your favourite series?
I think the winter olympics and march madness had a bit to do with Fringe's break.

Re: Your favourite series?
These the series I follow. I watch these as soon as they are released as a torrent because I don't want to wait 2 entire years for some broadcaster to buy/broadcast them. Also, fck commercials!
Following/watching at the moment:
-Greys Anatomy, this show is way too hardcore for most guys.
-House md, great new season!
-South Park, getting kinda dull but still decent enough for that one show a week.
-Pokémon, you are never too old for Pokémon! (watch it as a last resort xD)
-CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:New York, I lost interest in it but every now and then I watch it again.
-NCIS, see CSI.
-Freeman's Mind, great series on YouTube. Worth mentioning even in a television show thread.
To watch list:
-Sopranos, alldready saw the ending and downloaded all episodes, but it is just too much TT.TT
-A town called Eureka, Scifi channel = LOVE
-Dexter, great show from what I have heard but I kinda missed the first 2 seasons...

Re: Your favourite series?
Futurama is a very smart and clever show. I truly do not see how the Simpsons has so many seasons, and is still going, when Futurama had only one season, and it was fantastic.Young Greezy wrote:Sgt Pepper wrote:HELL YEAH! I remember hearing somewhere that Futurama was coming back, though; can anyone confirm/deny this?

Futurama had four and a half seasons... I pray to god you haven't missed out on such excellence!

Re: Your favourite series?
The problem with the Office (British vs. American) is that whichever one you see first is the one you tend to like better. You fall in love with the characters and don't like how they are almost identical in the other version.
The British one did come out first though and Ricky Gervais is golden. The American one came out years later and the first season was almost word for word identical to the British.

Of course The Simpsons and Futurama should have been on my list too and also True Blood, great vampire series!
I see you guys forgot one of the funniest series ever made! Robot Chicken!
Download that stuff, it's so brilliant hahaha.

Why doesn't anyone mention Six Feet Under?
Didn't you love American Beauty?

One of my friends got me into Supernatural, and I've watched every season in the last two months. Makes me wish I had a brother to drive with, hunt demons, and have long, emotional beer breaks in national parks. But in all seriousness, great show you should all check it out.
Castiel is the best!!!
Re: Your favourite series?
Series I enjoy but don't watch weekly/new episodes:
Heroes
House
Family Guy
Futurama
Robot Chicken
Series I watch weekly:
Deadliest Catch
Mythbusters
The Pacific
I spend WAY too much time playing guitar to watch TV. Guitar on 10 is a much more attractive sound.
