what i have now(laptop):
what i hope to have by the end of the year(tower):
- intel core 2 duo 1.5 Ghz
- 4 gb ddr2 RAM (they didn't bother saying the speed, so it can't be good)
- 130 GB 5400 RPM hard drive
- Nvidia GeForce 8400m GS (128 mb by default, 1.5 gig with windows 7 memory allocation)
- one 1680x1050 acer monitor
- razer lachesis mouse(4000 DPI is awesome)
- razer lycosa keyboard
- bose headphones (which is how i can hear all of those spies, i am NOT using modified sound files)
what i hope to have by the end of the year(tower):
- intel i7 920 quad core, overclocked to 3.5 Ghz
- 8 gb ddr3 RAM, 1600 hz

Family PC (had to use it for YEARS!)
I'm planning on buying a new laptop this May so my parents take over mine. I mean, ever tried running firefox and office 2007 on the sime time while on a shitty computer? It is pure torture I tell you!
Anyway, I only buy HP laptops (out of loyalty) and I want a better one than my current is so that leaves me with only so much options :p
Edit: it will most likely be the HP DV6-2120ED. Benchmarks show it performs better then my current, has AMD TURION II dual core @ 2.3GHZ and a 1GB videocard from ATI. Only €600 an dit beats all other HP laptops up to €800 :p

So, a bit of interesting news...
My dad has a second PC that is broken. It is a Dell Inspiron 530, which has many options.
My dad has the fully-loaded one. 2.4 ghz intel quad. Nvidia Geforce 7300 LE.
I swear, I want to fix that and keep it as mine... NO MORE LAG!
