Old news, some of us have been using that UI for weeks now (including me). Original thread including a long review by me can be found here. I did noticed one bad thing tho, the current Steam UI game overlay had a meter that showed the remaining battery power but they removed it in the Beta UI Ow well, at least we got a clock...

i've been running the beta UI for a couple months now, it's pretty damn awesome.

Get the beta! I'm running it since the beginning of it.
