TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
I found an adapter for my D-SUB cable recently. Before, I had wanted to hook my computer to my tv but comp doesn't have a D-SUB output. So I looked in my video card box and found that it came with an adapter! Sexiness pursued.

Sorry for the images being blurry, IDK what happened there.
Anyways, the colour was excellent, as was the fact that I was getting 200 fps maxed out. It looks better than when I played the XBOX version on there, that's for sure. What wasn't excellent was how disorienting it was.

I have a super long VGA cable, but I can not seem to get it working at all. I will look into this when I get a better GPU.

every now and then I play it on a 42" HD Screen by HDMI cable in 1080p full hd and 5.1 surround sound so there's no need for me to be jealess
Also, my head hurts TT.TT

Wait wait wait.... Greezy... is that Fallout 3 on Xbox? Do I need to show you the equation again?

I certainly hope, in your torrenting life style, that you have played the game on your PC, especially considering the fact that your PC is very good. I am not sure if I have stated this in the past, but Fallout 3 is my second most played game evar, at 800 hours, second only to Team Fortress 2, at 1300 hours. I got Fallout 3 on PS3, and it just was not the same. Oh my word, are analog sticks terrible!

Wow you've played tf2 more than me. And let me clear up, the XBOX isn't mine. I despise console gaming. Computer does everything better.
The XBOX is my brother's. He went to Korea and left it here along with his games.

I apologise, I didn't mean it like that, I was only delivering a point regarding Fallout 3.Young Greezy wrote:Wow you've played tf2 more than me.
I am pleased to hear that :DYoung Greezy wrote:I despise console gaming. Computer does everything better.
Who developes your GPU, Greezy? If it is Nvidia, then you should inform me as to how you got your TV going as a display, because I can not seem to get it to work with my 9600GT.
Re: TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
Nvidia user here, I use the HDMI port. After plugging it in I change the settings in the NVIDIA config screen, usually set it to 720p unless I'm going to game/watch a 1080p HD movie. I also have a VGA exit, sae rules apply.ninji wrote:I apologise, I didn't mean it like that, I was only delivering a point regarding Fallout 3.Young Greezy wrote:Wow you've played tf2 more than me.I am pleased to hear thatYoung Greezy wrote:I despise console gaming. Also, if you have win7 you can easily choose bitweens creens by pressing winkey + p. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, still going all party hard xD
Re: TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
That makes perfect sense to me, and I appreciate your response. However, I have no HDMI ports on my card, instead it is two DVI ports; with it I have a VGA to Component cable, which could easily provide HDMI picture with a card with a VGA port. But all I have is two DVI ports, and one DVI/VGA adapter. Simply put, it doesn't work at all. I will try and get a DVI/Component or DVI/HDMI cable then.Sgt Pepper wrote:Nvidia user here, I use the HDMI port. Console gaming is the way to go these days. Enjoy your lack of exclusives, PCfags.

1/10 because it is too obvious Also, who actually cares about the whole console war thing? If you can have fun with something it is good enoughImpalsi wrote:Console gaming is the way to go these days. Enjoy your lack of exclusives, PCfags.
Re: TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
I don't have much experience with consoles but isn't it much harder to make movements without a mouse? I suppose all consoles use gamepads?
Also i had a beamer once and played on that, it was awesome.

Re: TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
well i use both console and pc and i prefer pc for most games except bfbc2 mw2 and fo3 cause all my friends have ps3 network like me also. everything else goes on the comp. css, tf2, gmod, plants vs. zombies(lol), etc.

I tried playing CoD4 on the Xbox, and it just wasn't any fun. I found myself constantly frustrated by the fact that you turn slow as all-get-out and speeding it up means that it's really difficult to aim. I prefer good ol' mouse + keyboard.Impalsi wrote:Console gaming is the way to go these days. Enjoy your lack of exclusives, PCfags.

Impalsi is just trolling, cause that's what he does. Don't take him seriously, he <3's his computer and he's saving to buy a new one just for gaming.

Re: TF2 on an HD 52 inch tv
I plugged TF2 into my tv once before.
It looked amazing, even better than on my laptop screen. The only downside was there was some input lag so I couldn't play that well.
