Quick Play Empty Quick Play

Post by Furgus 26/4/2010, 16:19

My sister accidentally deleted quick play from computer. And now I need it back. Could you guys help me out with this? I would do it myself but i got finals tomorrow and can't waste precious time.
Here are my computer specs if needed. I was told from a friend that you could download it from the internet. So if you find it in the internet it would help.

Manufacturer: Hewlett- Packard
Model: HP Pavilion dv(500 Notebook PC
Rating:2.5 Windows Experience Index
Processor:AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile technology TL-58 1.90 GHz
Memory(RAM): 2.00 GB
System Type:32- Bit operating system

I really need your help and would appreciate it.

You can download EVERYTHING from the internet including this yes. Logics would tell me to go to the HP site and click on 'Support and Drivers' followed by entering the model number Why? Because it takes you to this page where you can download everything for it.

@ninji, quickplay is some crappy HP program which you can use to play CD's and watch DVD's. It's not all bad since it allows newbs to use the computer but for me I rather use VLC or the K-Lite Codec Pack.

Well I know that there are better programs than quick play. But it hasn't been an issue. So I just keep it there. I'm building my own computer right now. And I'm not planning on putting quick play on it. I just finished building one computer and it was a success. I'm not sure on the price it was but it was $5, 000. Now imma build one that has more features as well as more speed. More like a gaming computer. But I won't be keeping it. I'm building it for my customer.

So... you build computers for others yet you can't even find a program on Google? That's it, this entire thread is making no sense to me >.<

It's not that. I looked but couldn't spend to much time on it. Because I got my finals tomorrow. So I thought maybe put up a thread on it. Which helped me somewhat.
