Birthday events?

I think it would be cool if there would be an event popup with; this and this 's birthday today! And do something else to fill up the server and maybe also make a little partyhat. You know, the ones little children wear.

The people who have had their birthday can keep this customhat but only enable it on their birthday till a week after it or so.

Maybe you can scrap the middle section, but the partyhat and the birthday event thingy would be cool

On Tendo's Birthday we turned on party mode (everyone wears a party hat, balloons for blood, funny gibs) but I have some doubts on whether or not we should do things that change gameplay.

Maybe give them a one-day special hat

TF2 has a special birthday mode that can be enabled on the server that shows players with partyhats and presents when players die + partysounds.

I don't think it was Tendo's birthday we did that on but we did it with Taboo and Roaches. Jameless enabled it.

Yes as you can also see from the screenshot Eraser took we also setup a few announcements in-game that said Happy Birthday {player's name}. I left them in the txt file as to be easily changed for any player's birthday.
