To show off the PULP clan!

Well, I had some free time, and for some reason, opened photoshop and started making a spray.
This is my final product:


I originally had no blood, but when converting Beta 2 to vtf, I noticed how bland it looked, and added a bit of extra stuff, which is why I'm skipping all the way to Beta 3 for you guys.

Any suggestions or feedback would be nice, and I'm pretty sure you can download that and use it if you want.

BTW if you want me to remove the blood/change ass to butt or something, go ahead and tell me now, before I start adding on.

Leave it as it is. for photoshop do you have to pay for it?

Also could someone explain in full detail how to work with spary and how to use them?

Yes, you have to pay for photoshop unless you pirate it. Alternatives for photoshop are paint.net an the gimp which are both open-source (which means free).
I myself am used to Paint.net even though I use Flash for most my drawings and paint.net to compile and add effects layer by layer. Never got used to the photoshop outlay :/

I use PS 2.0. No joke. And it works. I got the cd from my step-mom, who works with computers a lot, and thats the only one she had available. Obviously I'm no genius, but I think I'm pretty good with Photoshop. BTW the one I posted is just in it's 3rd beta.

Well I was thinking if we put health packs and ammo packs in the server map. Than maybe while I'm at it I can put this pic in the server. Enlarged in the spawn. It would attract more members.

Good idea!! But not a female Engineer.

I was starting to add bullet holes, when I realised one would fit the O in Fortress.
I did it quickly, so I could slap it onto here.

Tell me what you think, should that stay there, or should I just scatter the holes around in the open spaces?

I'd say keep the one that replaces the letter O and remove the other one.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but...

I'm a big fan of transparency, so having a square spray would drive me crazy.
So... I made my own. It turned out pretty well, so here's the result:



It's a reproduction of our Steam community page avatar. Except with alpha. And puns. Well... slightly more puns, anyway. I even borrowed the "P" from the original. The orange is from Wikipedia, and the TF2 logo shape is directly from the Steam icon. I like how it's simple and uncluttered without looking empty.

The picture hyperlinks to the .vtf file for the spray, if anybody else wants it.

I love it!

Unfortunately, I have to keep my spray as it is part of my killing strategies (if you read it, you understand it :p )

I can barely see the P....
I'd like it if it were just the orange, no transparent P.
The thing is, it's more of a personal spray, it doesn't really refer to PULP much, unless you know what PULP is. My spray is more for advertising on other servers

...actually, that's a good idea. You should put the IP of the server (63.211.105.54:27015) on your spray.
The one I made was mainly intended for use on the Pulp server, anyway.

But yeah, the one I made looks better in-game. You can hardly see the "P" here because it's on a white background. There really aren't any textures in TF2 that are quite that white (unless you're on a map like cp_spire or something).


Off-topic: You can make a link on your desktop that connects directly to the {PULP} server by making a shortcut to "steam://connect/63.211.105.54:27015".

Still, I like to use my server favorites so I can see f there are any people playing.

I mostly meant for when somebody posts an announcement to join the server.
Obviously you don't wanna join the server if you're not sure you want to join the server.

To see if there are people playing i mostly use the stats page http://pulpfortress.clanservers.com/tf2stats/

I like the spray Zurkov and i will definitely use it. Also i like the advertising the IP idea. But the disadvantage of this is that i think no one will actually write down an IP address. I think the spray should say: Go to www.pulpfortress.com and click on >Join Server!

I think Firestar's right... I figured I should make the "P" less transparent.

I'm trying it in-game now to see if there's a noticeable improvement.
EDIT: It's much better, IMO.
