New Counter-Strike Source beta! Holy shit!

Hi guys! I have extremely exciting news! VALVe has finally directed a bit of attention to its ill-fated game, and given it a huge update! However, this update is a beta, and in order to play it, you need to have been one of the first to opt into it. It is closed at the moment, but once the beta ends, it will be a mandatory update for all CSS owners!

Well, the beta keys are gone and apparently, it will fuck over almost ALL mod's when it is released to everyone. Surf, Deathrun, Zombie Mod (maybe), BHop and more. Plus, its becoming like TF2 with all the achievements added on and everything. Also, they might make it so you use your steam name in-game. pretty stupid if you ask me...

The only new addition I oppose is Steam name is your name in-game. Other than that, it sounds pretty sick. And I am happy the mods are going away, for the time being, because all the vanilla servers are gone and this will force vanilla for a few months or so.

So they finally updated a 10 year old game which they still charge €20 for, way to go valve! Just hurray up and create a sequel so you can publish the Blue Box along with Portal 2, L4D and L4D2 and HL2E3.

YES, I love playing CS:S, and I play it a lot. I noticed a lot of things could be fixed up, and valve answered my prayers
