Using Spray
For those who don't know how to use sprays. Just follow these steps.
1. Find your image, it must be square the following sizes are acceptable: {64-64} {128-128} {256-256}
2. Download VTFedit. {Go to http://vtfedit.software.informer.com/1.2/ and click download.
3. With VTFedit, Import your own .JPG,.BMP, etc... and convert it to a .VTF file (Valve Texture File){open the image and then save it. There might be a few pages that appear. So just click okay.}
4. Now place the .VTF file in:
(your dir)\Steam\steamapps\(your username)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos
{ you could do this by saving the file in this folder instead. Or you could right click saved file and press copy{don't right click the picture}}
If the file doesn't exist than just create the file itself. Create the VGUI and the LOGO file within it.}
5. To fix the quick view appearing blank copy the same .VTF also in: {You have to do this}
(your dir)\Steam\steamapps\(your username)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos\UI{create another folder within the logos file if you dont have it} Then copy the saved file in there}
6. In game, go to the options and click import the spray and browse for it in the \logos folder (not the UI folder!) and click okay or double click the spray or file.
*Make sure it is the specified size.
**Make sure you have a key to spray the picture.{for example if i click "s" the picture will be sprayed.
If you need any help just message me.
