Mt tf2 is dead =\

After the new update i wanted to start up the olde hag and game some good ole fps on my fav server. But then it gave me an error that is regarding the steam servers are too busy. I tried the next day, and the same error poped up. I had reinstalled steam and my tf2 and it still gives me the error. Until this error gets resolved i will not be able to participate in any pugs or scrims let alone play tf2. If anyone knows how to resolve thsi error please tell me )':

Well you allready tried re-installing so did you contact steamsupport? Not much else you can do ...

Did you try validating your game cache?
Did you try moving your "team fortress 2\tf" folder?
It that doesn't work, go to Steam's program files folder and rename "ClientRegistry.blob".

Don't rename it, delete that fucker, it is the source of nearly every Steam problem.

But you said you reinstalled Steam, and what I am getting is you deleted everything, except its executable, then you reran it so it could reacquire every file all over again. If that is what you did, then please do the following:
Rename your steamapps folder, and your config folder. Now delete everything* in your steam folder, except the two folders you renamed. Now redownload Steam's installer off their site, reinstall to the place you just deleted everything from.
Name your steamapps and config back to what it originally was, and launch Steam.

I had the same problem as you, and this sorted it out.

*When I say everything, I mean everything including steam.exe (But, of course, do not delete your renamed folders)

Steam Support advises renaming it instead of deleting it.

I have read that plenty of times when they linked me to that support ticket when I send them any message regarding any issue on Steam. I disregard them completely now, and I do what I do and it works. But if you want to be safe, keep all your Steam files then.

Miht, in you steam settings you can change the server where you download updates from. Try to set another location.

Ok i have tried everything. I have reinstalled windows, tf2, steam, taken apart my compte, and i even switched video cars with my bro,etc and my tf2 gives the same shitty pop up. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS. HOW THE HELL IS IT STILL GIVING ME WHEN I REFORMATED. WTF.

..................................You seriously must be trolling us (EDIT: /sarcasm). That is just so fucking bizarre, I absolutely sympathize with you. The only thing that could be causing it now is something like your monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, router, modem, printer, what ever the fuck is connected via usb. Or maybe Gabe killed you with his level 9001 mallet (EDIT: /sarcasm).I am seriously stumped to shit.

Let me ask you something. Why would i be trolling my clanmates, AND why would i not FARM FOR THE NEW ITEMS/HATS. You know me well i would farm hats and items all day.

This is way out of our leauge. Try contacting Valve (again) about this, tell them everything. You could also try to play TF2 on another PC with your account to asee if this is account or PC related.

Miht, a few things:

-Did you try changing the download region in steam like i suggested?
-Make a ticket at steam support: https://support.steampowered.com/ login and make a ticket here https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php or go to top menu (ask questions) tell them exactly what you have done/tried already
-Looking at your problems it cannot, i repeat it CANNOT be anything related to your computer, exchanging videocards is not needed.
-Do you use wireless right now? Try using an internet cable instead
-Try to replace your router or bring your computer to someone else's home and see if you can connect
-I highly suspect your router/modem or either your ISP is blocking ports, the guys at steam will ask you to do the same things
-Also try updating your network card drivers (might work with doing a windows update, that solved some problems for me)
