New games?

FPS's have been getting kind of boring for me... im thinking about picking up starcraft or WC3. Does anyone have a suggestion of a non-fps videogame that i can get to get me over this hump?

Nope! i was never really a fan of those fad's... Besides crazybones and pogs...

lol still its for the win. but for real now lets see what i can think of. plants vs. zombies. could play a racing game... i particually liked need for speed carbon. or you could get off the comp. like me. . greezy that is true. someone brainwashed him!

Well, what kind of MMO's do you like? might I suggest Cabal Online http://www.cabal.com it kept me happy for 2 years, great MMO in my opinion. Also, spore is fun

Actually, Warhammer 40k is a tabletop game. They have a buncha vidja gaems based off of it, though (Dawn of War + hybrid expansions, Dawn of War II, Fire Warrior, Space Marine, etc). All the games for it that I've played were great, and the story behind W40k is epic.

I suggest you try playing Plants vs. Zombies. It's a PopCap Games game (the same guys who made Peggle - you can get a Orange Box-themed demo version of Peggle on Steam for free) so it's really fun, it's got a perfect learning curve, and it's really cheap if you wanna buy it (you can even get it over Steam if you want).

Gang Garrison 2 is an excellent game to play if FPS doesn't sound like fun but the world of TF2 is still too tantalizing to ignore. You should recall it from when Valve mentioned it on the TF2 Blog. It is a really good game, in my humble opinion -- make sure you try it out.

There's always internet games if you're too cheap to buy stuff and you're too lazy to download things. Jagex's entire company is built upon making these, so RuneScape [an MMORPG that you can play for free - it's not the best game ever, but when it comes to price you can't beat "free"] and FunOrb [has a pretty impressive selection of free games, but for the most part the only ones worth playing for any extended period of time are on the main page] are good options.
