Alright so me and Greezy talked about how we can get the scrim train rollin. We noticed it's hard to get our team together to practice, and when we do pugs the starters of the scrimteam are spread across different teams to prevent stacking, so they don't get much team practice their either.

The ideal way we figured of getting to play in the same team as competitive players would be via www.tf2lobby.com
First you need a lobby account so go there and make one, the step most people have problems with is that in the registration process you are given a code, you must copy/paste that code in your steam profile page before making the account! Just copy/paste it anywhere in your profile and when your tf2lobby account is created you can remove it again.

You don't have to be a scrimteam member or even a starter player, every PULP member is welcome to join this match as long as we don't have more then 6 players and of course we play in the same team. The way it works is that Greezy and Eraserhead can make a PULP lobby. This lobby is a virtual space which displays the given name and map on the tf2lobby website. The people who are online in the lobby will then join our lobby and pick a team and class. When there are 12 players the match will begin and TF2lobby will configure the VIP server and connect all the players. NOTICE: The password will be randomly changed by tf2lobby and be displayed in the lobby room, so the password is not what you are used too! After the lobby game it's reverted back to normal.

We will host at least 1, but possibly 2 or 3 games. After the match is done just return to the lobby where Eraser or Greezy will make a new PULP lobby. Prepare to get your asses kicked because the players in the tf2lobby are competitive players but it will be good practice. This is the first event in a series of new events we will organize at different times, hopefully at least 2-3 per week. It should be easier to organize since we only need 6 players.

Actually, I've now found that lobby completely removes the password Eraser. IDK why it happened that one time, but whenever I make lobbies now, there's no password at all.

Anyways I can probably stay for one map then, so count me in for soldier.

Sorry, but I can't play a full match at that time. I'd like to play too but you know school is important... It'll be 9pm for me and that's a tad too late (for me).

You can at least join for one game can't you? It's just one map with 5 rounds. These competitive matches go pretty fast usually. Expect one hour maximum. Would be great to have you with us.

Anyone else want to join?

So, the lobby event went ok but i was the only PULP member in the game so i played with 9 other strangers. We had 6vs6 teams but 2 players did not connect when the match started so we ended up with 5vs5.

Our team steamrolled the others with a 5-0 win on Granary.

Greezy had to leave after waiting a while and Cake made a mistake with the time. I have put up another event for friday.
