You may have noticed a change on orange in the past few days regarding autobalance and team scrambling. We have activated gScramble!

Some of you may be familiar with this plugin as it is a pretty popular plugin as an alternative to tf2's standard autobalance. For those of you that aren't here are a few things about it.

It will autobalance when one team has 2 more players than the other like normally. However it will take things into consideration and assign priorities as to who would be the better option to move to the other team:
  • Engineers with buildings
  • Medics with a charge
  • If you are helping your team capture points
  • If you are granted immunity
This should prevent those times that you are the only one that captures up to the last point for your team and get switched last minute. You can also use the /addbuddy command to choose a player that you would like to stay on the same team and it will try to keep you together. Only 1 buddy per player though. Also if you are autobalanced two things will occur. You will have a 2 minute window preventing you from switching back to the other team (if you try to change back anyway the time gets made longer). It will also make it so you won't get autobalanced for 5 minutes.

These are all things that help keep you from being autobalanced. If any of these options make it so a team doesn't get autobalanced for more than 15 seconds (this can be changed to be longer/shorter) then an autobalance will be forced.

This plugin will also help us with team stacking. If a team is noticed to have a much higher frag ratio it will perform a team scramble. I am also working on getting it to scramble the teams after every round so bear with me on that.

@Ninji: That time limit can be changed but I think it's important to prevent people from instantly switching back to the other team.

FUCK YES! I often get autobalanced right after I capped one or two points, mostly at 3rd and 4th point. It really sucks to cap a point on your own, get autobalaced and recap the points again -.- Also, autobalance as an coward that hides behind his sentry with buildings, so frustrating! One point you are depending on an coward that hides behind his sentry's base and suddenly everything is gone. Shit sucks.

So what I am trying to say is good job!
