Windows 98 second edition (aka You're first OS);
-Instant blue screen if you remove a USB flash drive.
-Random BSOD's for no reason except to fuck with you.
-Manual internet installation often resulting in expensive calls to the provider helpdesk.
-9001 unwanted toolbars.
-Over 9000 joke was still funny back then.
-Hardly any proper anti-virus/firewalls (zone-alarm+NOD was what I had)
-Bi-monthly re-installation due to virusses.
-Included the WORST BROWSER EVER (IE5 and later IE6).
-Thousands of disc's containing freeware (read spam) included in about every magazine.
-No NFTS, no more than 1gb of ram and only small disc drives were allowed.
...
...
...
All I can say after recapping my experiences with win 98 would be... PRAISE THE GODS FOR WINDOWS 7!
Also, at first I couldn't believe that you never worked with win98 because like I allready stated, it is like "You're first OS" (kinda like Ubuntu). But then I actually did the math and found out you were only 2 when Win 98 came out and 5 when Win XP came out so that explains everything to me.
Also; Win7 > XP > Vista > 98 > 3.11 > 95

Pepper, you put vista in the wrong place.
It should have been >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>way over here, behind everything.

Vista with SP1 (and higher); Better WiFi support than XP, better USB support, handles more ram/larger HDD and fixed a lot of problems that occured with Vanilla Vista. Needs more resources than XP to do the same as XP making it worse than XP.Young Greezy wrote:Pepper, you put vista in the wrong place.

98: Bad WiFi support (if any), BAD usb support (BSOD), limited on ram and HDD even though MP3 was allready big.
95: No WiFi, bad internet support, no usb support, low ram+low HDD, unstable system: useless piece of junk!
3.11: baddass name, now ifi, no usb, low ram+low HDD (but we're talking 1992 here), more stable than 95.
So erm no, in fact I am not sure if I should Vista in front or behind Win XP because it really isn't a bad OS when you install SP1 or higher (and have +2gb ram)...

Re: dont kno what will happen
Actually forgot about those... Me and 2000 were modified 98 versions with better USB support. If it wasn't for the lack of compatibility with XP titles (as in XP had more support) I would put them in the same spot as XP.
Also, I hijacked a thread >.< My apologies for that. Guess it can't be helped when someone makes two identical threads xD
