Commands for the server

Also with the very few admins we have i think we should have voting. Most other servers have commands.


Enter in chat box:

!voteban
!votemap
!votemute
!votekick
!voterape


When admins aren't available we should have these votes so we could resolve any problems in the servers without admins. Also in order for people to be aware of these commands we should have a page like in the server{when you first enter it}. You would like go to the chat box and type "help" and the page with all the commands would come up. I think these {this word is also killing me in this topic}...... would help a lot in the server.

Voting for a map on an 24/7 orange_x3 server seems kinda pointless to me....
But yes, this might be a good idea although I ahve some second thoughts on voteban. What if a group of peopel decide to use it aginst us? I know, I know, doomsday theory, but that's how I am.

Well vote ban but like maybe for a few minutes. i think its possible to put a time limit on vote bans. Lol also yeah vote map is pointless.

I can allways make a ban undone, even if it's a permban.

I agree we should set this system up. I will look into it. I think this is rockthevote and has simply to be turned on.

votekick doesnt work because someone would simply reconnect.

Yeah but votekick would give them a warning. Or maybe we can like ban= 3 vote kicks or something like that and it wont be permaba. It would be like 30 minute ban.

Yea but what i have seen is that it takes so much effort to take someone to get votekicked. There are allways players who don't understand how votekick works or are not paying attention to chat messages so in the end the player can stay on the server. This also means that this player should have had enough warnings not to be surprised when he is banned for 30 minutes.

So yeah as it was said before in another topic. There should be two reserved slots for admins. So when there is trouble they can just come in the server and fix it.

Ds you make a good point about the slots. But i must agree with Eraserhead you would only need 1 reserve slot. So an admin can go in there and if a higher up is needed then they can just kick to make room becasue 1 slot makes a difference when you like the server alot.

I installed a voting system yesterday. Made some modifications today. Possible ingame chatcommands now are:

voteban
votemute
votealltalk

I turned off votekick unless anyone can give me a good reason to turn this on. Voteban is allways for 30 minutes.

Permaban can only be done by an admin.

I also changed the ingame advertisments. See here the new ones i added:

Maybe you would want to add or change something to the last one Dark Soul? Color is lightblue, these other colors are possible:

Hey, there is something wrong about the voteban and votealltalk.
When someone writes it, It should appear to everyone.

what i mean by that is that someone was micspamming like crazy and when we wrote voteban it took 11 votes but about 4 people knew how to voteban someone so he never was banned and continued his spamming.
