Source TV is NOT working - Yes it is working!

I keep seeing this advertisement for pugs and scrims : "Come watch us on source TV"
It doesn't work!!!!
When the VIP server is full, the Source TV server is FULL.
So you can't watch!
Stop saying it works when it doesn't !!! lol

Also works for me, I just join by console and a few seconds later I am on it.

Semi off-topic; Is it me or do you not have to insert a password when you join by console? Last time I joined the VIP server by console and I didn't had to give a password... Does TF2 saves the passwords or am I just a leet dource engine hacker?

You can either join by console or if you type !servers on any of our servers I have an option in there for source tv. Just select that and press f3 to get switched. I made it so source tv won't require a password to get in there.

One thing you need to take note of is that source tv is not directly connected to our server. Meaning there is a 30 second delay from what happens in game compared to what you see on source tv. It is set this way to help prevent cheating by using it. So if you attempt to join prior to the match starting you may not see anyone in there just yet.

The other is that you don't connect to source tv over the standard port of 27015. You have to make sure to specify the port 27020.

Pepper can you add a link to connect to source tv on our website? I see you have some great links to our servers but it might make life a little simpler for some if they can just click a link to get connected to it.

Added a link in the navigation section. As always it's a url that refers to steam so it's just once click and BAM you're in-game and connecting.

Funfact: they allready were steam urls but I just said that to make it sound more technical xD
