CS:S Fun Event for All!

Right now I am getting the server set up. Installing all plugins needed (none really lol) and installing all the necesarry server cvar's to make it regulation. This will be fun! Eraser if we can't get enough people the night of the scrim, I could get people from my scrim team

If you just evenly spread them so each team as 25% noobs and 25% regulars.

We would prob win LOL! Anyways, my PC has been having issues >.< damn heat anyways I don't know when server will be ready. I will try to have it done for tomorrow so you guys can practice though. Also, this can be good practice for my scrim team

Well there are diffent maps. and some stock maps are differnt most of them are ts plant the bomb and if the bomb expldoes Ts win. ts can also win if they kill all of the cts. Cts win by defusing the bomb, killing all of ts, or if time runs out.

Best guns are mostly machine guns and a deag. 1 deag ftw =3. AND IM An AWP WHORE

I think we should get AWPs and Autosnipers banned, they make the game so one sided...
Anyway, it is a simple concept but takes a lot of time to perfect. I'll give a breif breakdown of the better guns in each category.
Pistols:

Deagle: Preferred side-arm of most counter-strikers. Availible to both T's and CT's. Headshot is almost instant kill unless they have a helmet. does roughly 25 damage on body hits. Slow but accurate shots. 7 shot clip.

Five-Seven: Preferred weapon of a select few counter strikers including me. Availible to CT only. Does about 80 damage on headshot and 20 on bodyshot. Fast and accurate for the most part. 20 shot clip.

Dual Elites: Noobs use these more or less because they look cool. T only. Not sure about the damage, just know it's pretty weak. Fast and a little accurate. Not a good choice... 30 ammo clip.

Shotguns:

Pump: The more powerful of the two shotguns in a sense of power. It has more spread, more bullets, more damage, less fire rate. Hard to judge how much damage a shotgun does. A pretty good choice for close quarter combat, you'll be smothered at long range. 8 ammo clip.

Auto-Shotty: The faster and more accurate shot of the two shotguns, less damage, less spread. Good Short to Mid-Range, but don't rely on it at mid range. I think 8 ammo clip, don't use it much though.

SMG's:

Ask someone else, I don't use these things....

Rifles:

M4: A good gun. Most CT's use this as there main weapon. Only CT's can use this gun. Has a silencer using right-click. Silencer adds a bit more accuracy and noise reduction, but takes away some damage. Does about 20-30 per shot depending on where it hits and whether you have the silencer attached. With silencer it does about 90 damage on headshot. No silencer, I'd call it a kill unless they have a helmet. 30 ammo clip.

AK47: Preffered T weapon for most T's. Very similar to the M4 except it does a little more damage and and does not have a silencer. T's only. 30 ammo clip.

AWP: Overpowered. Instant kill on bodyshot or headshot. Get good.

Alright, first post has been edited. Sorry if I have not been on steam, this stupid heat has been affecting my computer, bad. Anyways, I am micro-managing from a laptop and should be able to get steam on it asap so I can get more people in on this. Based on weather reports, it will be much cooler on friday, so I should be able to play!

4 year experience CS experience here, I used to play 1.6 a lot until I discovered TF2. I guess I have over 1500 hours of 1.6 and only a couple hundred hours of CSS.

I think we should move this event since the engie update just came out, im gonna play TF2 tomorrow. Also maybe do the next event in the weekend so people like Cake could join?

Good for me. I may have to go randomly though because I'll be using my old computer (that's what I installed TF2 on) and my family might want to get on that.

Never mind, Cake. We played CS:S a few weeks ago, and we both owned. God knows how I owned, I havn't played that game for 2 years!

I'm still greiving of the fact that Germany didn't make it to the final. Ger vs. Holland would have been such a classical game.

I'm holding my thumbs for Holland though. Is there anyone who likes Spain? Not really.
