Need assistance finding good Techno/Electronica

Basically, I have always really liked the Techno/Electronica genre, but I have never been able to properly identify with it. What I mean by that is I know a good 5 songs that I really dig, but I have nothing of it on my MP3 player, and I know no specific artists.

So, can anyone tell me about some really great electronic-esque music I could get into?

obvious one is daft punk, also maybe gorillaz

my favorite band is pretty electronic, called hot chip
their album style varies a little
my favorite is their first, called Coming on Strong, it's minimalistic

You could also check out Guero by Beck if you haven't already. Guerolito has really great remixes also.

I used to be a tekno DJ but that was years ago. Mind you teKno is something else then teCHno.

For general dance music i would advise listening to Underworld and Chemical Brothers. But that's old school stuff. So is Daft Punk. w/e happened to them??

@Hobo, good stuff, but the vocals ruin it for me; I know, how hypocritical, I like Daft Punk and that DVNO song, but something about the vocals in the songs you recommended that bugs me.

@Eraser, that youtube video was great, but I don't know how to get the files off the site you linked.

Yea that's song you listned to is a golden oldie from Crystal Distorsion. Good Tekno from France. In Europe we have this scene were people have travelling sound systems, they squat an old building or empty terrain and do an illegal tekno party there for 1 night and the leave again. Absolute awesomeness. Few times a year they do it for a week somewhere and it's called a Teknival.

I might also advise you to torrent some psytrance or goa mixes. Excellent music to listen to.

Eraser, that is exactly what I am looking for. And, holy shit, it's like an hour long! That torrent you gave me, does it contain stuff similar to this one?

Also, I am not sure how to download the .mp3, Firefox isn't catching it as downloadable.
