give me map ideas

my current project is frustrating me to no end, i need a break. i have all the game modes complete, just putting them all together is a headache.

anyways, what map should i make in the meantime? it needs to be a single-stage map, i still don't know how to do the multiple stage thing. i can handle all the current official gametypes or make one up (like my soccer map). i just need some inspiration.

How about the Quake map where you fight the boss in the middle of all the lava? I used to love playing Quake on there. You could make it a CTF or KOTH map.

Are you looking for a theme or just basic structures on a map? I'd have something like a western ghost town, maybe one side is a trainstation (do you know how to do the moving train thing from well) and the other can be a warehouse. The town can have a few buildings, which have interiors and roof access. Another cool idea could be something on the water, like a beach house or a cliff side manor. Could have some cool walkways up the side of a cliff with red on top and blue coming up from the water edge. I dunno, just some ideas I really don't know how the map editor works.

How about a desert island? No not a deserted island, a Desert island, made up with kinds of deserts so you can om nom nom your way trough the map.
