Pulp tryout contest? a new challenge has come.

As you know, tendo has created a new map on taboos request. A map named pulp_tryout. this map is made to try out new recuits. and has a lot of features that are helpful to us.

2. secret room
3. doors that we can open and close
4. A contest to attract people?

yes i said it. A contest to attract people. What i had in mind was to have a tournament every week or so for a prize that will last one week.
The tournament is can be 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 ,
and there are groups so an example will be like.
Group one vs group two -|
| Group one vs group four -- Winner
Group three vs group four -|

And the tournament can consist of melee, taunting, baseball balls, who can rocket jump highest, and so on. the prize for the winner can be a custom hat they can use for 1 week. and it will probably make people want to join pulp, and be more competitive for the custom hat.

It would have to be a custom hat that we designed ourselves. I already asked Adam to do something like this, maybe there are others that want to model hats?

We could also just announce the winner of the contest on the orange server for a week and make that player the player of the week in the steam group.

The other two duel maps ninji suggested are also on the VIP server to try out alongside Tendo's map. What would be the first tournament you would like to organize Miht?

you could do something like a trophy hat. and for that week the group has it then the next contest comes and another group wins they get a trophy hat. so its the same hat the just keeps getting won. it would make it rare and the mems of that group could only wear it etc. something like that mybe?
