Ummm didnt know where this would go...

well i was playing on the server reguarly and someone named nappy came and we started talking and we were having fun. then came someone called The mad hatter who hates my guts apparently. He got me muted cause he was mad i was talking while i was only talking to nappy. he refused to heal me and called a punk little kid so i talked back a little then he vote muted cause "apparantley" i was too annoying... i left for a bit and came back and i knew i couldnt talk and i asked mad hatter why. some pepole said they wouldnt care if i moved my mic from my face but not once did they ever tell me. i mean all they had to do is say lower the volume and i would have done it but mad hatter did it just cause he wanted to and could. thats about it. Also i can haz unmutez?

Besides your rambling, the entire server voted to mute you. You aren't a new player here, and I've witnessed you being told that you're loud, talk too much, too high pitch, etc. since I started playing on Pulp. I didn't even cast the first vote for the mute, stop getting upset that I made a tactical decision not to overheal a spy revolver-sniping ontop of the tower.

kk first since you been on like the only 3 pepole who told me to shut up seriously is you and 5.5 minute hallway and George Constanza. The other pepole including Jonsie were just messing with me and were joking. Second of all I had 10 hp and asked for a quick heal. you said no and after i asked you why you said oh ya its funny cause im refusing to heal you because your a little kid. You refused to heal me even when i was a demo and soilder. So dont go saying it was a "tactical decision." Third half the server who votes spams one. Do you expect the administrators to kiss it and make it feel better? Maybe they can force me to heal you in the future when you're just camping kills to reach that glorious rank 150. This is a case of hurt feelings, coming up with these half-lies about how I care enough about you to mastermind some plot is ridiculous.

However, The Bad Hatter (dohoho) does have a valid point in saying that his votemuting you was not out of line. The votemute system is almost abuse-proof. While someone probably should have asked you to quiet down first, it is true that the majority agreed with Hatter. What you're looking for is an unmute -- I'd assume a more understanding attitude if I were you. Understand that you may have been being annoying, and not everyone is going to be polite and ask you first. Understand that your voice is high-pitched and people on the internet can't stand that, especially when it's paired with high volume. Understand that Hatter hasn't broken any rules. True, he may not have acted as maturely as he could have, but, by the sounds of it, neither did you. I'd wager that you WILL receive an unmute, but to avoid this happening in the future, I'd recommend you take my advice.

Hatter, I assume you're just defending yourself and/or flaming Vlad. If it's solely the latter, and you don't give a shit what happens here, I've got nothing to say on the matter. If it's at all the former, you too should try to be less adversarial. Ad hominem ("when you're just camping kills to reach that glorious rank 150") isn't going to get you far, in the eyes of the community.

Regardless, neither of you has done anything seriously wrong. I'd recommend personal muting one another, as, based on the nature of this thread, an agreement between you probably isn't going to be reached.

In the defense of the offender, I recall myself repeatedly asking you to move your mic away from your mouth, to no avail. I can absolutely tolerate your mic usage, except for the simple fact that it is too close to your mouth. If you were to correct this, a vote mute against you would then be really unfair.

Vlad, I think you're super cool, and all, but sometimes you need to analyze the situation from other peoples perspective.
On your side, you were unjustily muted.
On BadHaters side, you were not listening to other people when they asked you to please adjust your mic and its settings so it doesn't hurt everyones ears as much. And I can back this up, but, again, I think you need only move your mic farther away from your mouth.
And on the admins side, they need your arguement as much as MadHatters, so you can't exactly tell him to stop explaining himself.

Ok, to stop this from going any further. Vlad, I will ask you a personal question, now dont think I'm being mean or anything I'm just checking, has you're voice broken? If it has, then use you're mic, but dont talk as much, if it hasn't then, dont use the mic. Simple as. Or if you're microphone is old, then get a new one, dont know if that'll help but, if you're voice has broke, then do what I said. There are a couple of people in the clan, I'm not going to name them so I can same them from the embarrasement, they dont use there mic, because they're voice's havn't broken. They just type.

After his failed vote, someone else vote mutes him and I 2nd the vote, and 60%+ of the server agreed.

lol when i did that it wasnt serious as i said "lol JK just messing" the vote didnt even go through as right after that we did a sniper vote or some other vote. Vlad. Makes no difference. The point here is that you were unfairly votemuted and I am going to say that you are going to be unmuted. As for your fight against Mad hatter, its pointless. There are people out there that are going to make fun of you until your voice cracks. Always. I wasn't there, I don't care either way. Just Pick your fights better guys and know what you should say and when to say it. The question to ask yourself is: "Is it really worth it?" and "What is the best realistic outcome of this?"

You were muted by a vote meaning most of the people have agreed with it. Just ask an admin on Steam to be unmuted, it's as easy as that.

I'm locking this thread down since it is all a waste of both yours and our time. Also, if people complain about your voice you might consider using your mic less or lower th evolume (which was the main problem according to this thread).
