Petition against Valve change: custom hats disabled

Hello everyone. The custom hats and bodywear which we were using as a reward for donating members doesn't work anymore since the latest TF2 update.

I have no idea why restricting server-side modifications could ever be considered a good idea. Up until this point, Valve has always been very supportive of modifications of their software...

If all they disabled were Valve items, I wouldn't sign this. But they are also blocking custom items, such as custom hats and custom items that are necessary for Dodgeball, which is fun as f-ck. So, I will be signing in the hopes that they allow custom things, but still disallow vanilla items.

Can't believe they did this, Valve used to be very open to their community and they do this? Many servers depend on custom hats so they get donations without affecting the gameplay.

I have entered in my Steam information into the petition but it always says "Incorrect Login" and I am 100% certain I have spelt my login correctly, and my 30 character password correctly. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

try changing your steam password, probably it isn't correct. this happened to me too a while ago when trying to login on the steamwebpages.

that's cool.. I understand them not wanting their official content cloned but they could have told the sourcemod dudes so they can update before completely removing it.
