Ranking plugin updated Empty Ranking plugin updated

I just updated the ranking plugin on the orange server. If there are any problems please report here.

Changes:

* Fixed bots getting points for killing buildings and capping points (rank_ignorebots).
* Added kill tracking for "tribalkukri" (Tribalman's shiv).
* Added kill tracking for "battleaxe" (Scotsman's skullcutter).
* Added kill tracking for "ball" (Sandman baseball).
* Added kill tracking for "paintrain" (Pain Train).
* Added kill tracking for "sledgehammer" (Homewrecker).
* Added kill tracking for "unique_pickaxe" (The Equalizer when player has less then 25 health).
* Added kill tracking for "tf_pumpkin_bomb" (Pumpkin Bombs).
* Added check to prevent running an old version alongside a new version (file check).

Well some servers use BOTS to fill up the slots not being used by real players just like the granary server we played yesterday Greezy.

There have been many requests to exclude them from the ranking system which is obvious and now implemented. Not relevant for our server though unless we are going to use them.

I haven't checked the playercount on the server as often as I probably should, but if it's empty very often you could use a small number of bots to seed it and/or balance teams, and have the server remove the bots once a couple of players join and/or team are balanced.

I disagree with bots entirely. They're too easy to kill, it would mess with all of our killstreak records, and it's dishonest.

Maybe just use 2 bots when the server is empty? As soon as someone enters one bot leaves. When someone else enters that other bot leaves? It sounds like a good compromise to me to keep the server filled up.

Sometimes it's empty for hours but if i join someone else immediately join and in no time there are 15 people playing.

Wat? Why have two bots and kick one when someone joins? Why not just have one bot until there's two players (although it might not be a bad idea to put it back when there's three players and remove it again at four)?

Pickaxe is always unique_pickaxe now (for weapon_logclassname). They changed it a while ago (on the 2010-1-13 update iirc). It never varied upon attacker health amount.
