Randomizer Plugin

Hey I just came across that video on yoootoob


Its a server with a randomizer plugin, basically it gives you a random class and 3 random weapons. So you can be a spy with rocket launcher or a pyro with a sniper rifle.
Im gonna try to find some links to get the plugin and we could test it on the VIP server and maybe make it a special event.

Can we post IP addresses? I have one of a supposedly still alive Randomizer server, but I don't know if it's still up. I only wrote it down one or two days ago, I haven't visited myself yet.

OMG YES! I accidentally joined a randomizer server one time with my friends and it was EPIC. It is sooo much fun! Only problem was that with too many people it just gets too crazy. Also it's only really fun with arena.

We need that plugin!

K so I took a look at the forum for the plugin. It looks like since the new weapons came out it's had some huge issues. We will have to wait until a new version comes out. I will follow the topic so if a new one comes out we can check it out.

also i'd like to note that this isn't a plugin you can simply turn on and off, it messes with the .ctx files(well, the latest version did). once you install it, it messes with some core gameplay mechanics.

Right thanks for that Adam. It would require a lot of backup of the ctx files and/or deleting the new ones and letting the updates restore the ctx files.

Like Adam said it isn't a simple let's do it 1 day shortly followed by a pug or another event. It will take some time to undo the changes that the plugin creates.
