European Server(s)
I have been thinking about the EU side of PULP. I'm sure that we don't want to keep playing on servers that we have +100 ping on all the time. So I've decided that, we should get a couple of EU servers. Playing on the other servers is good but, we want to get more EU Players in PULP. My idea for this so we can bring more EU players in PULP, and, if they're good enough, we can tell them to join the ESF.
1) {PULP} FORTRESS EU Rotation Server - 24 Slots
2) {PULP} FORTRESS EU Match Server - 12 Slots
Comment on this. If you do/don't agree say why.

Re: European Server(s)
I think we really only need one European server which is open to the public when there is no particular events going on. No need to separate Pulp into Americans and Europeans on the "non-scrim" front.

If you can find someone to front the money consistently every month, I'm sure that it won't be an issue.

True, a EU server would make me happy (not getting sniped behind a wall anyone?). One would be more than enough for the time being, funding it however is the biggest problem since we don't have a lot of members/frequent users who donate.
Re: European Server(s)
I would only say only a rotation server, but is there like a huge lag problem on our current Match/VIP server that you euros can't stand?
I say start with the Euro rotation maybe starting from 18-24 slots then start expanding once you get enough frequent donators to like a match server if needed or something.

If the finances can support it then it won't be an issue. But as it stands we don't have enough money to complete the year with our current servers let alone add 1 or 2 more.

A match server is the only thing I'll use. I'll finance it myself if I have to. We can play pub stock on the server that we have.

Re: European Server(s)
If any of you European guys have an old PC (somewhat of my specs, single core, around 2.1 ghz is fine), you could host a server using that. That's how us at -CGMZ- have our server, and it's free.

Re: European Server(s)
Well, what we could do with all of the server money, per month you guys could just pay for a dedicated server. Then, you could host your servers, make the orange server more slots, and it won't cost money. As well, you could host the website on the dedicated machine, but it could be a security risk. This would somewhat free up money, but still doesn't solve the problem of no euro server.

Well then we'd have to figure out who'd host it, largely based upon their internet quality and their location. Plus, to pay for 3 computers for the servers would cost too much. Same with getting one decent one for all three. The main thing comes down to cost per year for the three servers. If they don't cost the same as getting a regular computer and the internet required for it after 2-3 years, it's pointless. (Plus, I believe we pre-paid for our servers.)

Well, instead of paying for one every month, I could pay for 3 months, we get 10% off! It'd be atleast £30.00 or 30euros.
