What is Microsoft thinking?! [Windows Mobile]
I was just reading up on some random things over at Wikipedia until I came across an article about Windows Mobile (which I use). Now it's no big secret that MS screwed up with the mobile market (9% total share); poor support and a lack of proper software makes it look like a turd when compared to Android. Basically Windows Mobile is dying and there is nothing MS is trying to do from preventing it from dying. In fact they will no longer publish updates for WM 6.5 which could really use that last few fixes and they decided to 'roll the dice one last time' with Windows Phone 7 which comes with some insane ideas:
-Rebuild from scratch, loosing backward compatibility with all software.
-New GUI resembling the Zune. Wonder what a Zune is? So do I... (flawed MS iPod)
-System will be closed, NO THIRD PARTY APPS FOR YOU! Seriously, what the fuck?! The best thing about a smartphone is because you can do EVERYTHING with it. Instead MS disallows third parties (including Mozilla) writing apps for it.
-Integration with Xbox 360, first decent plan. Probably will come with a Xbox remote function, Live chat or something...
-MOAR integration with .net/Live services and other popular services. About freaking time! Live Messenger Mobile is buggy as fuck, BlackBerry already has build-in support and Android has tons of people writing custom apps for them.
-Can not be installed on any existing mobile device. Great, no upgrades.
So in case you are wondering what this means, the next generation of Windows Phones will be a 5 steps back in the progress, filled with MS censorship and a total lack of third party apps. Anyway they have already stopped all support for WM6 a time ago and WM7 will be the final nail in the coffin of Windows Mobile. So for those who are unsure on what phone to get, don't go with any MS phone.

You mean Apple iNeedToHoldMyPhoneWeird? besides Apple also does some heavy app censoring. I would never buy any Apple products because that and the price being 2 to 3 times higher.
On a related side notice, hackers found a way to instal Android on almost any HTC
