I was looking through a book and saw this computer. This is the way it was listed in the book. I'm going to build this computer for one of my cousin's where her birthday is in November. But I still want to build the pc that I was planning to build from the beginning. So I wanted to ask you guys if you perhaps happen to see one of these pieces a bit cheaper than the price listed above. Please post the website, on this thread.
But here is the Antec 902. That I bought for my pc.

Re: Building my second computer.
If you keep your computer in front of your keyboard like that it'll be hard to type and see your monitor
derp
Also I'm pretty sure that some of those prices or specs are way off.

Re: Building my second computer.
Okay upon further inspection, everything is wrong with that build and you should not ever get it. It's literally 3x as expensive on average per part.
Don't get it, for fuck's sake. That's a computer that would have been good in 2006 and it's costing a ridiculous amount.

Build the intel sweet spot build from the link in that topic.
Will perform 2x better than the build you suggested at least, cost less, and be much more energy efficient.

Re: Building my second computer.
I was looking through my pc case. And something hit my head that I never asked myself.
When buying pc parts do they have to be of the same company? Never thought of that.

Re: Building my second computer.
I actually personally like Asus motherboards because they always seem to have the features I want for good prices, and they look sharp
And Asus is a really great brand, very reliable.

Re: Building my second computer.
Yes Asus is reliable but Intel offers advanced replacement. So it all depends on down time. Being that I do this for a living I find the need for advanced replacement to be essential for my line of work but for the home it may be different for you.
