Yep, I'll be gone most of the summer. Working at a Boy Scout camp, I'll be able to get on now and then on the weekends if I'm not busy. Although don't expect to see me at all during the weekdays. This will be starting from about the 25th or 26th on to about 3months from then. Peace guys, hopefully I will be able to get back into the game after it again.

Boy scout camp Shocked Why would you even wanna go there? Did they threaten you or something?
What I mean to say is have fun but I just dislike children and find it hard to believe you want to go there

it's actually a pretty fun experience. I love camping in general (I mean hey, my main class is demo Laughing ). Hiking, teaching badges, sleeping on cots(at least for the staff), it's a pretty fun experience. The only downside is the pay, I mean holy shat, only 500$ for the whole summer. (The can get it away with it offering room and board) But if you are 15 it's one of the only summer jobs you can snatch that's fun. (Plus it's a bit of a prerequisite for a much more layed back and better paying camp I plan to switch in a year or two. Where I'd be a river guide doing river rafting Cool )

$400 Shocked thats €314, almost my entire holliday money this year and half I need for my new laptop.
But ow yes, camping... I have some great memories from camping; the haunted bug-filled nights, the Guus Meeuwis CD that's stuck in the player for 7 days, the lack of internet, the hangovers, the lack of a clean shower and waking up in the wrong bed...
Good times, good times indeed n.n

Woot, I'm a boy scout! What camp is it?
Anyway, hope you have fun. Remember, check the tents often, a lot of kids stash away the weirdest thing (Some guys in our troop brought porn magazines, a cd player, and a porno Razz )

Actually last year we did find some weird stuff...

There was a 6-7pound bag of candy one troop left, one troop made a huge spiderweb above their camp out of twine, lots made hammocks, over the summer I got a wood block, nice sleeping bag, camel back, one of those hats with the dangly side things and a big magnesium block all in unclaimed lost-and-found stuff (If we turn it in and it's not claimed in a week and a half it's ours)

Probably one of the weirdest things that would happen would have to be poop in the shower stalls, either some sick joke or some kid who was too afraid to use kybos and couldn't hold it.
