PULP Summer Training Program?

Me and Google had a long and hearty discussion, and we've come up with some juicy details for a possible Summer training program. It won't be anything intense, we'll just be putting people into teams for some competitive play for an hour and a half every week against people on TF2Lobby, plus some inter-team scrims! (More details to come) The goal of this program is to make everyone a better player, and to get experience facing other people.

You have to be a clan member or applicant to sign up for this. If you aren't accepted into the clan as an applicant, you will be booted from your team here as well.

We want as many sign-ups as possible! Even if you only want to be a backup, sign up! We will try to have a healthy compliment of backups so no games have to be cancelled.

I will leave this poll running for a couple of days, and if there is enough interest, a sign up sheet for teams will be posted along with rules a breakdown of everything.

If you cannot make it, please post why this is.

I don't know if the classes you stated above are the classes you want to play but we are going to discuss classes later but its 2 scouts, 1 demoman , 2 soldiers, and 1 medic[a regular scrim team].

I just planned a lobby game for tomorrow night but i didn't read this. Does this mean Google will host lobby games besides you Greezy?

Most people put a latency filter on their server searches. So a server from another continent probably wont' show for Europeans.

We are trying to get as much people as possible. This event can be a great opportunity to make this clan grow due to that fact that this event is only for PULP clan members and applicants. People that play on the server would like to take this opportunity to get better and finally dominate everyone instead of the one being dominated.

Maybe we can have a server msg saying, "If you join our clan, we will host a special event during the summer. This event will guarantee you to be better than what you are right now. To join this event, join the forum and post your PULP application.[THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR PULP CLAN MEMBERS AND APPLICANTS].

This event will benefit us a lot. In one way is that it will make our clan grow. Also our clan members/applicants will be better. .

That message is way to long to display ingame. Better is to have a short advertisement like "Type 'event' in chat to find out about our summer training program. And then put your information on a webpage.

Lol you fail . It doesn't matter right now, as we will go over the teams once we see how many people are interested. This thread is just so that we can see who is actually interested and can make it, thus allowing us to make valid teams.

Shit , we should have made it mandatory for people to post that they are interested with their timezone, so that we can find out WHO actually voted >_< .

The sign-up sheet will be posted up on 6/14/10 or 6/15/10 . Stay tuned.
