No. I can only grant admin immunity to a particular flag. I was thinking that we were going to use this flag for people who donate.

3 Scouts
2 Soldiers
2 Pyro's
2 Demomen
2 Engineers
2 Heavys
2 medics
1 Sniper
2 Spy's

Here's my request:

Everything back to the way it was except for

Class: Sniper
Initial Limit (when 1v1): 0
When Limit should change(4v4,8v8,etc): 5v5
Limit after change:1

Class: Scout
Initial Limit (when 1v1): 1
When Limit should change(4v4,8v8,etc): 6v6
Limit after change:2

Class: Scout
Initial Limit (when 1v1): 1
When Limit should change(4v4,8v8,etc): 9v9
Limit after change:3

Class: fat man
Initial Limit (when 1v1): 1
When Limit should change(4v4,8v8,etc): 5v5
Limit after change:2

My reasoning is that on Orange Scout and Sniper are OP when there are fewer people on the server. This should balance it a bit. I think having 2 of any other class during a small match isn't a terrible thing. But when 4v4 nothing worse than getting scout rushed or constantly headshotted.

And the rest of the classes are 2 of everything except for soldier are 3?

Nice thing that immunity flag, could be a perk for donors, yea.

i would just like not having to wait for 16 pepole to be on the server for 2 spies. maybe 14 or 12 because the reg server is not supposed to be competitive class limits.

Yes eraser that's what I meant. Every other class 2 and soldiers 3 at all times.

I don't think that having 3 soldiers even in a 3v3 is OP. Too many options to counter it. I think the only issue we really have is with too many scouts (scout rushing) or snipers (annoying when you can't move out of spawn area). So my request is that we only have dynamic limits for them.

I like the dynamic limits for everything still... Sad

But then again, there's no real reason to limit pyros, or engies really.


My last suggestion would be that we limit heavies to 1 until sniper is unlocked. Otherwise, they would just shoot off of the top of the tower like they did when votesniper was in place, and they were voted to 0.

Definitly change the fat man. We got plowed over today by a heavy/medic pair. Make fat man unlocked when snipers do.

I agree with limiting heavies like Greezy said. And there is of course a reason to limit all classes and that reason is that by keeping an even spread of all classes (like highlander mode) provides better game dynamics. Having a team with 2 spies, 2 scouts and 2 heavies isn't a very good team if you ask me. But then again there are people who come to an orange server to just have some quick action and discover 'they can't play their favorite class' (whining voice) and leave the server because of that. Personally i have fun with all the classes and don't mind if i'm forced into another class because the team does not need another one of my class. It is team fortress after all. But most people think otherwise so we better change it to what Jameless suggested, i think that this will be the result of the poll.

This whole class limits discussion separates the public in two groups if you ask me; those who like teamplay and those who like to just play their own classes.

Today i played for a few hours and had no problem what so ever with the limits.

I hear ya Eraser. I would rather force people to play the class that will help us advance, which is how it works now. Unfortunately I can't play on the server for more than 5 minutes without hearing someone complain about the limits. Instead of offering better options most of them just said "Turn it off".

This is a situation where the option I requested was a result of what I feel is the easiest compromise. Doesn't mean it can't be changed in the future. We changed most of our votes several times (and still do over and over).

I agree with the heavies limiting and will edit my request to include it. Thanks for that Greezy.
