Dunno, I got the new Sniper hat which I disliked and I recrafted it with my Medic hat (got tired of it)...

I had that many at one time; but the possibilities got to me, and I crafted them. I don't regret this.

I had twelve refined metal back before the Community Update. I had predicted it was coming, so I'd hoarded metal for quite some time. When the update finally came out, I was ecstatic and immediately crafted all of my metal into hats. I was rather disappointed that I didn't get any of the new ones...

...and then Valve added the new hats to the crafting system the next day.

Oh man, I remember that! I wasn't in the same situation, but I read the update notes and I thought, "Oh, THAT jarate'd some people off."
